Great vid. Just wanted to point out one thing, hope you don't mind: Vinyl records are made from PVC, and cutting them in a laser cutter is not something you should do. It's bad for the laser cutter, but more importantly, the gases released when burning PVC are quite unsafe!

@@iamdetour One of the combustion products of vinyl (polyvinylchloride) is hydrogen chloride, which is pretty corrosive. It turns into hydrochloric acid on contact with moisture in the air (or in your lungs/eyes etc), and it will also do a number on your machine. The air extraction probably sucked most of it out, but it will still cause damage. I wouldn't stress about it too much now, your machine is most likely fine, and thankfully you are too, but it's something to avoid in the future :)

Golden Nova Acrylic paints. This was another line that I was curious about using for vine art purposes on canvas? Do you have any experience with these and how they compare to the mural paints and also to the fluid acrylic line within Golden?

I'm going to do a mural on a giant outdoor fence, would it be worth it to use these paints on a fence along with a primer?

For an outdoor fence the golden mural paint and the exterior house paint will do fine after you primer it with an all purpose primer. i would do it just to make a better surface to paint on.

Hello, I would say that if you prep the surface of the food truck right you can use this paint. Something like a metal primer if the surface is metallic. I don't know what the surface is so its hard to say. but, Spray paint is always a good go-to medium for food trucks because spray paint will adhere to that easy even without primer.

Hello Ashlyn, On walls, the best thing to use is all purpose interior/exterior primer. that product is made for walls and durability. I usually get the 5 gallon but they also come in the gallon cans as well.

How do these compare with goldens liquid acrylic paint for fine art? How do they compare with their heavy body paints for fine art? Another words I’m just wondering why I would want to pay so much for the liquid acrylic or the heavy body acrylic paints when these mural and theme paints are so much less expensive! Thanks!

Love your work, just fantastic. Watched a couple of your videos pretty cool seeing you use some house paint to do some of your incredible work. But you know that good artist paint cost like a dollar or two per ounce and a gallon has 128oz in it so it cost quite a bit of money. Even craft store paint cost like $0.40 to a dollar an ounce so if you look at that $170 a gallon for some of the best paint you can get doesn't sound quite so crazy but if your painting a huge mural with multiple colors that could really add up as you know.

Super great paint. I think murals that are made to be long-lasting can definitely benefit from the qualities on Golden. Because I do a lot of murals that only last about 1-5 years, i would have to defer to house paint. But the murals that are done for museums, galleries, and corporate, this paint is great to make sure the mural is durable
