well, that varies on the individual person. The only answer i can give you there is lots of hard work. One tip, try to keep your hand parallel to your arm. This allows you to vibrato and shift. (Your palm should not be touching the wood) This can be uncomfortable at first, but it is necessary. I dont know what education you have access to, but i would suggest checking out fiddlerman.com for some really great free tutorials.
