The story started from childhood to adulthood, they met when they were kids, grow up together. And yes, in EP1 they are in teenage years, Princess Anin is 15 yrs old, and Lady Pin is 16 yrs old. But as you can see the story in this first episode is not really about passionate love, or crush or anything. It's a introduction of the characters, the story, setting the mood. You might see that there is this crush or something but since they are both still young it is not something they dwell on much. And yes there will be time jumps, you can see that on the next episodes, the time jump. I look forward to your reactions.

In thai royal customs, since Anil has higher rank than Khun Pin, she’s not supposed to bow lower/ suck khun pin’s leg because of her higher title. It’s disgraceful in their culture
