Now I played through both Uncharted 4 + DLC and just finished Indiana Jones in my opinion these comparisons are just are scare people for try out both games. In Indiana Jones there are a tons of puzzles and more stealth and less climbing and less action in Uncharted there are less puzzles, less stealth but more climbing and more action. Both games have great atmosphere and worth playing them. These videos can't show you the vibe and the story and the immersion and both games have great immersion and vibe and story.

99% of these comparison videos are completely irrelevant. And a lot of the times they’re also heavily biased, picking only certain things that stand out in the favored game, and then avoiding stuff the unfavored game excels in. Then people who never played the games before spread what they saw to more people. Such a lame cycle I see with every new release

The only thing I like about Uncharted more is that you can actually shoot your guns and fight while you're swinging on your hook. The action is more cinematic that way. But I'm a huge Uncharted and Indiana Jones fan. Both games are amazing!

From what I can tell, the story in Indiana Jones is more interesting then the one in Uncharted 4, but the gameplay and NPC's in Uncharted is far superior to the ones in The Great Circle. The Great Circle also lacks major action set pieces. Uncharted 4's truck chase beats anything in the Indiana Jones game. I don't think first person in the main problem though. I hate the added stamina bar and the melee items only last 4 hits max????

Same thing happened with Cyberpunk 2077. It's some kind of dumb idea about "being more immersive" in first person... Not only it's not true but it has disadvantages like worse controls. I actually feel more immersed watching the character I play as. It's like movies. They are "third person". A good movie can immerse you for it's entire duration as if the time outside the room had stopped until the end of the movie.

Honestly kinda wish the climbing up the side of a wall with ropes and the whip was in first person or at least animated better in third. Say what you will about far cry games but i love how it feels scaling the sides of buildings or a mountain with the hook in first person. Feels so realistic in the rope's movements, the hands of the character, the sounds, and the way you can push away for a little hop.
