This is such an awful rendition of the song (I say lovingly and with no criticism whatsoever to the makers and the cast) It took almost nothing for them to lift the score from the movie to the stage electrically, so that it would burst off and soar and make people's hearts fly and cry And they did this instead They kind of ruined the magic Changed the instrumentation, added in an unnecessary kick drum Everything that made this song gold (and frankly, perfect for the Broadway stage) kind of just taken away The delicateness, the way in which their power comes from within because if they don't sing out now they may just shatter and break, it's all only left to the movie And the magical version on stage left to our imaginations 😉 ✨️

I highly recommend reading JoJo’s new book. While I knew her “Get Out song,” I didn’t search for more info about her until her first run as Satine. Now that her second run as Satine ends next week, I like her more and more. In watching her interviews over the past few years, I thought it was funny to learn that her “crib” on MTV Cribs wasn’t hers at all. And she had to read from a script that someone else wrote. 🤦🏻‍♀️

No they were in tune was a specific arrangement I think to not sing the original higher note. With live performances, it can take a toll on your voice especially 6-8 shows a week!

she is incredible, every time i see their guest performance she is very engaged but he doesn't know how to create chemistry with her, he is focusing on singing like he's giving a concert and forgets the story is not about the voices but the two of them. I hope he's better at life shows.

Aaron is an incredible incredible actor in this show OMG! I don't agree that he's not engaged. This role is the reason he finally got his long over due Tony! I definitely can't get how the emotion doesn't feel as authentic being a live performance like this! I feel they are not very engaged as they can be in this atmosphere and sound impeccable incredible!
