He overdosed….. was like an hour from dying…. Went to rehab….. relapsed…… this song is on his first CD after he went back to rehab a lot of people don’t know that….. He was taking up to 70 pills a day Vicodin, Percodan, Percocet and sleeping pills….. he has now 14 years of sobriety

If you want the true experience and to understand many of his songs, you literally have to start at square one with the Slim Shady LP and then continue in order. Eminem's discography is one that needs to be listened to start to present to fully grasp his talent, his story and to understand why so many people (aka Stans) all around the world will never let him fall and will defend him against anyone who talks BS about him. You could go back a few steps further….. his first known recording is from 1986 and it’s a song called “Eat It.” Following that in 1996 he released an album when he was with Ruckus, title of that album is “Infinite.” After that, he signed to Aftermath and Interscope with Dre.

To learn about more him check out songs like Cleaning Out My Closet, Rock Bottom, The Way I Am, Leaving Heaven, or Castle/Arose. For other Motivational songs: Till I Collapse or Lose Yourself (which pretty much everyone knows already). Political statements: White America, Mosh, Untouchable, or a lot of his features like the one with Kid Cudi. Disses: Bully, The Warning, Nail in the Coffin, Killshot, or pretty much the entire Kamikaze album lol If you watch older official videos pretty much all of them are censored so watch out for that and find explicit versions or lyric videos. He has plenty of other songs where he’s just flexing his lyrical and rapping abilities so it really just depends what you are looking for. You might want to do his albums in chronological order as well and just react to the most popular tracks. A lot of his music references back or address what he was going through at the time.

She is the biological mom of 2 of the girls, Hailey (who is Em's biological daughter), and Stevie (who Kim got pregnant with after she and Em split up, the bio dad didn't stick around, so Em adopted, and has raised her...with Kim of course). Lainey is Kim's twin sister's daughter that Em and Kim adopted when she was little. His daughter, Hailey, has a pretty popular podcast called "Just A Little Shady". Sooo idk if someone answered this already or not so i'll just say what i know there are three ways you can look that he was in a group he has been involved in many ways but never really apart of one now he is affiliated interscope records wich i know if you haven't heard him many believe thats a group but not really now ive also heard that hes in a group with DR D.R.E, snoop dog, and 50 cent and that is pretty much just a friend group in a way as they all have been brought into the game by DRE now some may think this is a group but i personally don't think so but he did help make slatherhouse helped them quite a bit and did make beets for their songs. Now hopefully that run on sentence make sense and i could be wrong about something but from what ive studied about em that about it. Anyway, not to go into much detail, it's fair to say, that although in my case it was not 8, 100, but around somewhere around more than 1000 miles away, the phenomenon of this thing called hip-hop - music based on beat, sample and most importantly - WORD, which were like shots straight into mybheart, was enough for me to give so much time of my life into celebrating and experiencing and stic to it like a fan for life 🔮🎶🔮. It it's truly great that I could go this road record after record up to this point, being 43 years old and having so great feelings while watching young generations experiencing this what mine did, few decades ago 🔮 Never give up on lyrics, cause some of those words, when they get into you, will be there forever. In all moments, almost like your best friend advice, that was once given to you 🔮 Great feeling and wish to All You young people, having a source (not necessarily hip-hop), but source of wisdom closed in best possible for You a form of art. It's an incredible asset for your life 🎶🔮🎶 As for Eminem, Wish You All great ride with his music. It's for once in a lifetime journey. No seat belts, no map. Just diving strict into highest expression of emotion of any kind ... If you want to feel it in a rough, yet always true way, Eminem will take there for sure. Before I say anything just know I was born in 1995 and grew up listening to eminem, not everyone listens to every artist and not everyone listens to the radio (me being a person that doesn't). And I can tell you that I honestly don't know a single song by lil Wayne, Kendrick, drake (only song i know by him is hotline bling and thats only cause of a meme), and many other artists that eminem has done songs with. Secondly he never fully said he has never heard of him before, he said he hasn't really heard any other songs besides forever, meaning he was probably listening to drake, Kendrick, lil Wayne, and others.

He mellowed out a little after he got off drugs but he’s always believed in freedom of speech and if you come after him or his daughter he will tear you a new a$$hole with his lyrics as he’s never lost a rap beef since he signed with Dr Dre. He grew up as a battle rapper in the inner city so it’s in his DNA and to this day people still try to discredit him bc of his skin color. I guarantee anyone’s favorite rapper that’s older than 30 has Eminem in their top 5 rappers of all time bc there’s a documentary called “what rappers think of Eminem” and the only ones who hate on him are haters that are either racist or lower tier rappers mad a white boy is better than them. He’s got music of every different facet and is considered the best lyrical rapper ever. They study his lyrics a in college lit classes bc his 4 most recent albums are so lyrical the average person doesn’t understand them.

Eminem is absolutely not a member of the Wu Tang Clan. The Wu Tang Clan is a hip hop collective hailing from Staten Island, New York. As many of Em's songs and one movie, "8 Mile" will attest, he was raised in Detroit, Michigan. Wu Tang started in 1992, whereas Eminem's debut was in 1996. They like and admire each other, but have little else to do with each other. The ending rap battles in "8 Mile" are worth a watch, even if you've never seen the movie. Great movie by the way :)
