what i do when i size up is use self adhesive tape! it works best with bigger sizes like from 0 to 00 like you are thinking of doing. just do one or two wrap arounds a day or every two days and oil up your ear nicely and they slide right in! no tearing and youre up a size in no time

Hey there! I don't know if you've found out by now, because this was posted 3yrs ago, but there are plugs and tunnels with dangles as well, so that might be something you'd enjoy exploring in addition to simply attaching normal dangle earrings to tunnels :)

Have you tried Urban Body Jewelry? They have a TON of really cute plugs, tunnels and anything you could desire. I just stretched on Saturday from an 8 to a 6, my goal size right now is 00. How did you make those plugs? What clay did you use?

Dig out the rhinestones and fill the spots with nail polish! It's be cool to use different colors in each stone spot! You could use neon colors for summer. (If you go this route use a coat of white polish first to make the colors appear brighter!)

if you wanted to fix your blue gem tunnles, either you could find small beads a similar color (wouldnt be a perfect fit but close enough if people arent STARING at your ear two inches away). Or you could pull them out and get some glitter nail polish, that could work. Or i think you could probably find some tiny gemstones somewhere, in a craft store or online, but the quality might be questionable and finding the right size may be hard, but for sure doable if you want to go through the trouble
@nicole413888 жыл бұрын
loved the video and your collection, but I wanted to know if you've ever tried using natural stone plugs? i have several pairs and once I tried them I never went back to acrylic or silicone. I still love glass and wood tho :) certain stones, bc of their weight, can also help with stretching if you ever do want to go to a 00. there's a few places in Chicago I could recommend if you need any good stores with great customer service so you don't have to go through another bad experience
@HowToWithKristin8 жыл бұрын
I haven't but I really want to. I actually started an order online for more earrings and have a couple in my cart. This makes me want to get them even more lol
@nicole413888 жыл бұрын
i always find it helpful to shop for stone plugs in tattoo and piercing shops so you can see and feel them beforehand. i was really disappointed with some turquoise plugs i bought offline and it wasnt until then that i realized how many "imperfections" raw stones can have. raw stones are all different as they all have different weights, feel, differences in patterns and coloring and also sizing. just a suggestion. i would def invest in some tho, they might be a bit pricey but totally worth it. they make happy lobes :)

They may appear to be eaiser but I don't recommend stretching with pinchers. They seem to tear your lobes more compared to tapers or dead stretching.

I've had a similar experience with a pair of screw on metal plugs. Let's just say that now one of the backs is partially stripped so I'm careful when I screw the backs on now.
@chaneyreames38 жыл бұрын
What I did to get my zero double flare metals to fit was I ordered the cubic zirconia tunnels (you called them your professional earrings) and I wore them. Mine are a little heavy so I wore them for a few days and then I put 3 layers of plumbers tape on them and wore them for a few more days. Then after that, I was able to get the double flares in.

Fair warning for 00g streching: It will take a few days depending. I was at my 0g for a few months and it hurt a bit, and i had to leave the tapers in my ear for a day and just push them in with soap in the shower. But the bright side: DOUBLE FLARES ARE SO EASY AFTER 00g!!!!!!

I hope im not to late writing this. I really been thinking of stretching my ears but im confused as to what the types of jewelry are for. I see the spikes people always wearing but i keep hearing your not supose to wear them as jewelry? and the twisty crazy ones you showed, can you use them to streatch your ear? im really confused at where to start :/
@HowToWithKristin6 жыл бұрын
There at so many types of earrings but usually you use a taper and plug together to start. The taper helps get the plug into your ear. Most normal piercings are 18 or 20g so you’ll want to buy a 16 or 14g to start
