Look up coast contra. I was born in 1980. I grew up in the best music era, watched it peak then die. I didn't listen to anything but podcasts and news from 2007ish to about 6months ago, and if i did listen to music in that hiatus it was classic rock. Then my son turned me on to coast contra, and they turned me on to Nick grant and tone nwigwe in a shout out after a freestyle they did on Cosmic Kevs show. Bruh I hated what rap/hip-hop become, was sure what I grew up loving was dead....oh no homie, hip-hop is in EXCELLENT hands. The culture pendulum swing served hip-hop swell.
