@@werdnv it's literallly becoming every MP game if you actually get good (I because of SBMM/ELO systems) you will regularly start to encounter cheats. I pretty much have at least a 2.0 K/D in every game I play and get within a rank or two of the top rank. This puts me in the same pools as these cheaters. I'm probably encountering them in 1/4 of my games.

@@ramsaybolton9151 most people will call cope on your end...most people arent aware the extent of cheaters nor how it reflects high elo. as someone who is number 1 in the old school 2011 mw3 on ps3 console i can vouch that EVERYBODY ABOVE ME WAS CHEATING. i am the number 1 player but when i look at the leaderboards it claims my position is 24,650 for kill count in FFA game mode....that was back in 2017....its now 2024....im currently sitting at 27,560. 3000 more cheat accounts in a DEAD GAME. imagine what an ACTIVE GAME LOOKS LIKE SUCH AS VALORANT OR 2023 VERSION MW3....literally 70 percent of the mw3 top 250 is cheating. if you look at OG players like scump hes at the bottom of 250....yknow the best smg player of the OPTIC DYNASTY...lol hes at the BOTTOM!!

Spot on. Case and point I'm faceit lvl 8. if I play CS2 normal mm it's not just 1 cheater its usually multiple. my friends who dont have 12k hours in the game and play casually. They rarely if ever get cheated. If i join them it's like 50% of the games. Hidden mmr for cheaters skyrockets after just 1 or 2 games and they quickly leave the lower ranks. The other 20% who are more sociopathic and cheat subtly aren't even really the problem outside of actual tournament play since they won't even be noticed by other players. I mean who actually cares of that diamond player is a really just a chump silver level player who knows how to cheat and get away with it. They are still just about as hard to beat as an actual diamond player except they have to live with the knowledge that they are gutless shams. It's the blatant yolo cheats that people get pissed about and they are the ones that tend to get their accounts banned. The massive prevalence of cheating is great in that it means I have never been beaten by an actual player. I am now being placed in lobbies with silver to diamond 3 players. If you really have any understanding of the mechanics in the game you will know simply by how smooth the game play is if some one is blantly cheating before you even get in a gun fight. second you will easily be able to spot aim that AI and aimbot...a controler does not snap....I run into 1 MnK player per like 100 games over 99% are controler and claim to not be able to cheat even just because they are on console...its insain...but you can spot so many things that are repetitive visually when one is cheating vers the ones that are ligit with aim assist... you can simply have it recorded and look at that time of there response depending what tier of competative you at in your games the average speed of reaction is roughly the same. but the cheaters are just that much faster if pre-aiming your target they can kill you before hopped off a game that was a 4 stack crew in cod mw3 insain and nearly impossible to beat as ligit a ligit player.

Yesterday I spent my day getting annihilated in ranked The Finals. Usually I can manage to still pull off at least a few round 3s and final rounds (getting a win doesnt happen too often but it happens), but yesterday I couldnt get past the first round to save my life. Its gotten so bad in that game its disgusting. Also, please bear in mind I have just as a reference, not that anyone cares, 729 total hours played so far with only 5 maps (and I have the Deep Pockets achievement..) That’s what happens when game studios try to make their games based solely around competition. Instead of balancing competitive play with non-competitive play, they encourage players to become better and better. Of course this causes a substantial amount of the playerbase to reach these skill levels by using cheats. It’s an epidemic everywhere in all competitive games. Fortnite definitely started it and other studios followed when they saw how much money they were making. At first Fortnite was a fun shooter game with some unique mechanics but by the later seasons they just emphasised how important building is to the point where, if you can’t build really good, you won’t win games anymore. I used to be able to get 5 wins with a buddy of mine a night and a month later, after I finally got good, they introduced turbo building and whatnot. That’s when I couldn’t get wins anymore. If a game forced you to adapt one strategy in order for you to win, that is not actual competition anyway. (Take a shot for every time I said “competitive”)

And now with Warzone and its tournaments you have even more incentive to cheat. CoD, BF, Fortnite, R6S, CSGO, Valorant and all similar games rely on a big competitive factor and because the studios keep feeding into this environment, more and more people will start cheating. A good way of keeping competition but taking away some of its seriousness is by taking away SBMM. SBMM is a flawed concept anyway

@@sudowtf sorry, phrased it poorly. relatively speaking, cod isn't a competitive shooter. if we compare it to something like cs or quake it's pretty clear that cod offers a lot more tools/features/restrictions that exist to aid casual players. essentially closing the gap between newcomers and veterans. the reason i made my first comment is that you stated "they're based solely around competition", which isn't the case for games like cod or bf. if it were the case they'd be a lot closer to cs or quake, but they are far away from it. quake really is solely based around competition and it was once one of the most popular shooters but it never changed. look at where it is now, struggling to maintain 1000 concurrent players. funnily enough they don't suffer from excessive cheating. "There is literally no other objective than to be better than the opposing team my man". there's leveling, a million different weapons to unlock and use, camos to be unlocked for each of those weapons. profile emblems and titles, playermodel skins and so on. all of that stuff is there to enrich the casual experience, it doesn't add anything to the "competitiveness" of the game. despite what i said, being better than the opposing team applies to ALL pvp games but that doesn't make them based solely around competition. the art of automating the crosshair moving to the enemy can be applied to any pvp fps game but it's most attractive and sought after in the most popular shooters. if there's a crosshair and an enemy, aimbots will be present. doesn't matter if it's cs, cod, fortnite or PvZ:GW. vastly different games but sharing the same issue because of one common denominator. if there's an ingame-economy, botting will be present. doesn't matter if its WoW, PoE or runescape. vastly different games but sharing the same issue because of one common denominator.

More kills = more XP = quicker level-ups. You want to unlock gold camo’s? You literally have to prove you’re better than the average player and get a lot of headshots. It all boils down to competition, and with SBMM it never had a well working dynamic

Crazy how the biggest "hardcore" and skill based genre the west still develops and plays is dominated by cheaters. And even the fps's that have very small playerbases like Ironsight (ftp COD clone) has rampant cheaters/hackers. There's literally no reason to play a multiplayer FPS nowadays if you're a legit player. You probably have at least one cheater in every game and that's not even an exaggeration. These new cheats are virtually undetectable because they're trained by AI and look completely natural, with a "skill slider" and everything. Companies just don't care anymore if people are cheating, higher playercount I guess. Any competitive game is unironically hacks vs hacks. Gaming died almost a decade ago.

They get killed by cheaters, become furious, stop enjoying the game, and the last resort to enjoying the game is cheating. I've cheated in 2018-2021 on my main with €1k+ inventory, never banned, eventually finished university and quit gaming altogether in mid 2022. Cheating made the game fun again for a while, especially when it came to playing against other cheaters, it was a game of who would go more blatant to win, but not blatant enough to get banned. I would regularly 5 stack with other cheaters with €10k inventories just to play dark red trust factor against other semi ragers and that made the game really fun, because everyone was risking a lot of money so it was really funny trying to not go too blatant, but still hvh. This was back when you had things like legit auto wall, ddos on peek and full desync on legit aa. Playing against legits was boring and then they added comp cool downs which really were awful for legit players

What's crazy about cheating is it really is an industry that perpetuates itself. Generally within an industry there is supply and demand. Meaning there is always going to be an incentive for Activision to let the cheating continue atleast somewhat. One it gives them more profit as when most cheaters get banned they just realistically need to purchase a new copy of the game, unless its a free game. Two, they have these anti cheat developers and they need to be paid too, where is that money coming from? Point is that there needs to be an inherent reason for the player to not want too cheat, otherwise it's going to just continue forever.

I met a guy on fortnite a few years ago and, after smacking him in 1v1s he asked me if i wanted to see a new type of cheat he was developing, i join a dc call with him and he shows me a universal cheat that could be used on any game, its the same premise as the cheat shown around 15:00 . It would detect any human shaped object on your monitor and instantly move your mouse over to that object, it had sensitivities and all kinds of shit. He asked me if i wanted to be a beta tester for it but i had to rudely decline and say i wasnt dogshit at the game and i already had really good aim

with the rise of dma in the last year or so these new cheating methods are getting wild dma essentially is just a second pc reading memory data from a game and spitting out esp etc on your main monitor, overlaying esp rendered by the second computer. almost completely undetected to my knowledge and ai has even come in with cheating, ai based aimbots and a lot of people starting to implement ai to generate some code. not a lot are since its kinda rudimentary still and it does mess up sometimes but it does help with doing the bulk of the coding from what ive heard i really dont wanna imagine what kinda invasive anticheats are gonna come in to prevent these

I’ll put it to you like this. This isn’t something new to competition. This is pretty much what made modern sports. MLB had a match fixing problem so bad it nearly killed the sport. The NBA had its issues. The NFL. Again this isn’t uncommon. But what the gaming industry as a whole is struggling with is having balls. When you tie yourself so tight to profitability and moving numbers on a sheet of paper. You left your balls behind a long time ago. That’s why they can’t fix this problem. It requires them to public exclaim “ we’re taking a massive profits hit to rid our products of scum, we feel the integrity of our products are more important than immediate profits.” But they won’t because again this would require a lifetime blacklist to anyone who ever exploited their products. Either externally or internally. As both are listed as a violation of TOS. Again they won’t because sadly the clowns who cheat are also their biggest addicts…..

The reason why these hacker accounts are not banned are because the devs are compiling a bunch of hackers and banning them all at once. Thats why theres a banwave. its more efficient to ban cheaters in a wave because you are not targeting the hackers you are targeting the seller of the hacks.

Also, I don't understand how cheating in multiplayer stuff like that is popular. If a game is made too easy, it becomes incredibly boring. I mean why do people play souls like games? Really wasn't. This isn't just a case of people using cheat engine anymore. A lot of the developers spend time and effort reverse engineering the game and anti-cheats, spending more time then the devs have. A lot of them could legitimately get real jobs in it (and, if you were to look at a few popular public forums for hceating and see who posts there, a lot of them DO have real jobs reverse engineering and penetration testing). Anti cheat devs are way way over their heads in this fight because they are taking it the wrong way. You can't stop people from cheating, but you can catch people. The best servers in games are ones with active admins. Games with paid admins (only in mmos sadly) have a much easier time dealing with cheaters.

Well thought id get back into it after the big overhaul and i still had my same mmr.. I played for six hours with my "peers" and only HIT someone once! In six hours! Ai Aimbots are becoming incredibly common they cant be detected in alot of games but some like fortnite can tho it detects the ai movement of your crossair going over pixels in a way that is impossible to the human

Online gaming needs to be regulated and gaming companies need to be given all the tools they can to deter cheaters. It needs to get to the point where hardware bans aren't enough. Gaming accounts needs to be rid anonymity. Gaming accounts need to be tied to social security numbers, real phone numbers, or SSN-equivalents for entertainment related activities, like they do in South Korea. It's part of their culture and it's no surprise why South Korea dominates in eSports. They view games as having the potential to be very serious. They accept online games as "serious business" and worthy of getting a lawsuit over for misbehaviour. There's a reason why most Korean games fail at providing any kind of anti-botting/hacking security when published in the West, it's because there's not much need for it for the environment they're created for. They jail people for account boosting and any kind of software/hardware cheats. If you harass people over the internet in SK, you can end up in jail. In order to enforce that, they ask companies to ask for your ID for your unique account. Identity theft is also very bad, so account sharing is also punished harshly. The West needs to start treating online games like actual sports; without anonymity and with government regulation. Otherwise they're never going to win this never-ending cat & mouse chase with ever-advancing cheats. Unfortunately, the West is obsessed with privacy and "muh freedom" and our lawmakers are dinosaurs, so I don't see things changing anytime soon.
