First of all SUBSCRIBED! Second of al aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah thank you thank you this is so so inspiring to know a woman like you sees something in me! I told you this when you reached out to feature me on your blog - it's an honour and still is! Second WOW the concept of this video is so so rich and rewarding to watch. I love the story along with each point. And next time cry on camera!! We wanna share in it all, we love you and are here for you

Thank you Shan! Last year a girl told me I needed to get help "because I'm always crying" and I can't say that didn't effect me. Now she has me all self conscious about my on camera vulnerable moments. But you are right. There's beauty in vulnerability and sharing pieces of ourselves. Keep inspiring. I also loved that I watched your video last year around this time about why you were single and you made a list at the end of things you were looking for in a partner. To see you a year later with someone that matched the qualities you were looking for is everything.

1) My willingness to forgive ...2) I'm able 2 LOVE those who HATE me .....3) My honesty ... 4) The Confidence & Swag God has given me, even tho some days I look in the mirror & say 2 myself, No, i just don't see it....5) I Love & accept my imperfections, & even at 41 years young, I still don't have this thing called life figured out....A work in progress & It's still a process DAILY, but just like u Miss Necole, I'm blessed 2 still be here, humble, grateful & just SO thankful...

5 Things: 1.) My fantastic relationship with God. 2.) My Spirit of Discernment. 3.) My incredible group of girlfriends. 4.) My bond with my mother. 5.) My newfound ability to keep an open mind. Thanks for sharing and asking your viewers to participate in this exercise. As strong women, I think we're very hard on ourselves. We're quick to try and fix our flaws more than we celebrate our gifts!

Wow...the synchronicity of this video showing up in my feed today! 🙌 This is gonna be lengthy but I just have to say...31 days ago I read this book called "Love Yourself like your Life Depends on it" by Kamal Ravikant and decided that day I would commit to a 30 day Self Love Challenge. Little did I know it would change my life completely. It was literally what I had been searching for when no matter what I did to feel whole, there was an emptiness inside I could never explain. I, too, have no parents or grandparents. My mother passed in '91 when I was 2yo. My father was the last parent I lost in '09. Growing up I had self esteem issues and battled with my weight. Despite all odds, I found myself determined to never play victim, to be strong. Truth is, I was hurting. I was hurting so bad. What was even worse was I never acknowledged my hurt. You know the same hurt Solange spoke of in "Cranes in the Sky"? That sh*t was real. The more I ignored it, the more I ran in circles. I was searching for, outside of me, what was within me all along. Love. So what do I love about myself? Although, now there are many things my Top 5 is: *My Open Mind; I will always be a student 1st, just as you mentioned in the video *My Body; Everything from my skin tone to my knot-knees. *My Humor; The girl that laughs at her own jokes 😂 *My Ability to Forgive; I've always known that everyone is in this school of life, just like I am. *My Generosity; I just love the fulfillment of being the solution to a problem or putting a smile on someone's face just because. Thank you so much for your presence on this earth, Necole. You mean a lot to us. Thank you for always doing your best. Thank you for being vulnerable and telling us your story. Thank you for inspiring us to persevere despite all odds. Most of all, thank you for being you! ❤

I personally wasn't a huge fan of the gossip site but I've read every single post on your personal blog. You mention a lot that you're a work in progress and don't have it all figured out yet but the process is the most important part. You sharing that and being so honest and open about your journey is so inspiring and so beautiful. I never leave comments or anything but I wanted you to know that even if it seems like people aren't interested or paying attention anymore- it's not true, we're here. I like that you said you love your body because I feel like we're often told to love ourselves but then criticized or labelled vain if we talk about loving our physical features. My five: 1. My optimism 2. My ability to care deeply for people 3. My smile 4. My focus and dedication 5. My body

Love this necole. One thing I will say I love about you (I know that wasn't the question😂😂) your fearlessness. I'm surprise you didn't mention it. You have this ability to try different things, move to different cities, and transition out of a successful business that most people, definitely myself could have never done. I wish I could do that. sorry😂😂. Okay 5 things I love about me. I'm stubborn (sounds crazy) but once I have my mind set on something it can only take God himself to stop me from doing it. I don't give up easy. I love how I look 😂, my intuition, my ability to be positive and happy to see others succeed (it actually motivates me) and not settle. I am proud to say as well I am waiting for my husband and life partner as well. I refuse to settle for just anyone. God knows what I want. Sorry for the long post. P.S. thumbnail popping🙌🙌🙌. Love it

My peace of mind is vital to me. 4. I'm selfish. I understand that I cannot give what I do not have so I must take care of myself 1st. 3. My constant need to grow/learn/understand. I just want to be great and use up my potential. 2. I'm a lover, hopeless romantic. They say fairytales only exist in the movies, but I refuse to believe my prince charming isn't out there. Everyone is deserving of that fairytale! It DOES exist. ❤️ 1. Im passionate. I do not give up. I know what I want, and I do not stop until I've earned it. great video! five things i love about myself: 1. i move to the beat of my own drum. i'm not sure if it's an only child thing or what, but i literally have never been moved by what others are doing or what's popular or who's doing what. i'm true to myself in that way. if i'm moving with the crowd, it's b/c that's what i would be doing even if the crowd didn't exist. 2. i'm a great friend. i do not play about my friends and there is literally almost nothing that i won't do for them. 3. i have that gift where i can encourage and check someone at the same time (especially when it's about them)... in love. like one of my friends said before, i don't know if you're hugging me or telling me off. lol. 4. i don't have to have the last word. chile i'll leave you talking to yourself and you can think you would the "battle." that's fine. i'm 100% okay with that;-). 5. whatever i do, i do it in excellence. i'm allergic to mediocrity. i just can't do it.

The 5 things that I love about myself are...1.) I am strong minded (Not easily persuaded) 2.) I enjoy being single (I do look forward to marriage, but I am in no haste. I am waiting on God to send me the right one 3.) My morals and standards (The bible is my moral compass.) 4.) My patience (I have grown and developed patience over the years. 5.) I am an adventurer (Ex: I will go to the movies, play or to another state by myself. I am willing to try new things. Develop my skills and new ones at that.)

YES! I won't settle either. I know you prob can't join in with me with this, but I'm 27, and I'll be 28 in about 9 months, and I've been single all my life, and I'm fine with that. But yes, I love your resilience too, as well as your transparency. I also have been okay with being told no, more so recently. Like when I plan out things and they don't happen the way I wanted to, I stay optimistic and think about what I learned and gained from that, and what will I benefit from the wait. I figure, it wasn't the right time. I definitely have a great tribe too. I tell my friends, "I can't afford to have any more of you all." "Y'all are enough." lol. I have like 2 really good friends, and it's hard to juggle them, I can talk to them all day, about any and everything. Always motivates me, and stimulates my mind. I've grown to love my body took. I mean I loved it about 9 years ago when I first got all my weight off, but the struggles I had with people around me had me pleauting, and it had been a struggle for years. Now I've learn to accept who I am (I've lost basically all the weight again). You get those moments "I thought I was ____ then, but now that I think about it, I was great back then."

I so love your energy and the purpose of this video! You are bomb, young lady! Your quick reference to your resume defined your professional track, for me. It shared what your resilience has been tied to. You are very inspirational and absolutely black girl magic! 💞👑 I wish you could rub some of those life experiences and energy off to my 22 year old daughter whose graduating in December 17. Lol. You should offer internships for students. 😍 You are undeniably a gem!! We are all works in progress. 10 things I love about me. Thanks for the prompt. Was having a bad moment.. I would choose resilience as well. I felt you when you were sharing, working and being motivated for yourself. Its a difficult, lonely and a propelling place, I know soo well. 2. I am naturally cool. I love that I don't have the natural instinct to go to level 100 before thinking first. If I'm on 100, it's well thought out and intentional. Lol. 3. I love the my hair, its beautiful and full to me.4. I love my passion for kiddies and helping youth overcome barriers to connect them from where they are to where they wanna be.5. I love the genuine happiness I feel, when I see other women fueled for themselves and representing hope and direction for our youth. 6. I love that I am God fearing and God loving. 💕7. I love being a student in life.😍👑 8. I love that I am a great listener. 9. I love that I enjoy spending time w me. 💞10. I love my sense of humor. 😍👑 - Ms. J
