Guys. Shane is trying to say that we always try to impress people no matter who they are, that we always lose sight of the real us and we become someone else. For example in the video when they were standing on the sidelines and Shane was the only one dancing? He was being himself. Then the whole team started dancing and everyone hated them because they weren't "normal". But the girl fell in love with him because he was so completely himself and that's what she had been waiting for. Not some plastic, ken doll that could only sit still and look pretty. (Side note Shane your music is incredible and people have a lot to learn from it) ❤️
