At the zoo I worked at long ago, they used a syringe to draw air and press that into the hole in the egg to blow out the insides. Tip of syringe has to fit in the hole snugly or use a soft tube from syringe stuffed in the hole. I was surprised Sasha had the strength to blow that out by himself. Very strong lungs! I laff at all the noise Messi makes as he gallops around. I have seen some people use a Dremel tool with the diamond bit and carve designs in ratite shells like that, swirls, or flowers, or scenes - and make the bottom hole bigger to put small candle or LED lights inside. Then they set that on a wooden stand on table or mantle for soft lamp in the room.
