Ichel came to us at night from 29 to 30 December. This video was shot on December 30, when it was time to feed her and clean up after her because she was going to the toilet. Oh..well you'll see for yourself)

Господи, загнанный ребёнок! Как жаль что Ичель так поздно попала в ваши руки, так мало пожила хорошей жизнью! Когда уже перестанут, существовать цирки, это же ужас! Зарабатывать столько денег на животных и в итоги рак для Ичель это вся благодарность! Заболела она только по вине цирка и предыдущих хозяев, такие животные погибают без свободы и своей семьи! Люди которые насильно забирают, покупают животных для цирка и наживы, вы просто нелюди, но я верю, что каждый кто продаёт, убивает и покупает этих животных, ради эксплуатации, красоты и наживы, обязательно за это ответят! А вам Саша я благодарна, что этот ребёнок хоть под конец жизни пожил нормально!

Почему не следили!!! Дарья Костюк даже иностранных специалистов подключала к консультациям, когда узнала, что у Ичи рак! Она очень любит своих животных. Ичель отдала в хорошие руки, не доводя животное до дряхлости. Она видела, что Ичель не нравиться выступать. В январе Ичель выглядела здоровой, не было никаких признаков. Внезапно слепнуть начала. Сейчас рак даже людей за два месяца косит - скоротечная форма. Так человек хоть пожаловаться может и то упускают. Ну не умеют ещё рак лечить! Как её спасти можно было!!??

Опыт и знания. Ичель вовсе не агрессивная, она просто боится и не доверяет полузнакомому человеку. Смотрите, она даже не дернулась, когда Саша взял ее мясо. Не стала оборонять, как сделала бы нормальная дикарка.

Ребят, я конечно не специалист по Большим кошкам, но мне кажется вы сильно на нее давите, так заходя, повышая голос и находясь выше нее. Не забывайте, что это не месси и что у нее совершенно другой бэкграунд. Очень хороший совет был, поспать рядом с ней всю ночь с другой стороны клетки. И они очень чувствительны к звукам, нужно тише. Она очень напугана и шипит из обороны, испугается и атакует. Девушке стоит снимать с позиции ниже а не стоять над ней вдвоем, она этого боится. Яйца конечно железные, но не нужно так делать, это непродуманно. Дайте ей время просто и проведите с ней ночь вместе. Она скоро перестанет вас опасаться. После цирковой атмосферы, вам и ей будет очень сложно. Цирки это ад для животных, дай мне волю, я бы их все сжег до тла, перед этим выпустив животных оттуда. Что за люди вообще ходят в цирки и на это еще смотрят, еще и с детьми...

Ненавижу цирки и зоопарки с детства. Помню, какое непередаваемое отвращение было у меня в семь лет, когда мы были в Харькове и меня повели родители в цирк. Отвращение к таким местам осталось на всю жизнь. И к тем, кто там работает тоже. Не хочу никого обидеть, но и сделать с собой тоже ничего не могу.

Agreed. Cheetahs in free roaming sanctuaries routinely pay up close visits to people in the Safari vehicles. They seem more comfortable around humans than other big cats. Personally, I would need some new pants if one jumped into the car with me!

I am amazed how calm "dad" remained even though he was nervous. I guess the wand technique is something she knows from her former trainer, so it will help them get closer to her as she gets more relaxed. It was an impressive first interaction considering there was food there. It was adorable to see her cleaning herself and lay down not too far from mom and dad. It will take time, but she will get more used to them. I am sure this shelter was put together quickly, so I hope she will get some toys inside as well as outside. Her sleeping box may have a bed, but I would like to see something comfortable for her to lay on outside her den, hay or a dog bed, something comfy for her ten year old bones!!! I know there is a long road ahead, but I look forward to this beautiful girl feeling at home here. Carol xoxo

You should understand that all this happened on extremely "short notice", first, they needed to arrange something to place her in. They will try something to entertain her but adult cats who have never played with toys as babies do not see them as something useful.

She is not used to. She has never ever had any blankets or toys. And do not really need them. There are +25C in her indoor enclosure. At that moment, there was no floor in her outdoor enclosure. It was not ready. And there are definitely some changes during those nearly two weeks. For example, they wanted to give her Sasha's coat so she can get used to his smell and make some adds in her outdoor enclosure.

Poor little baby girl. All they want is food and stimulation and love. With love comes the patience and nurturing. Then with love+ time = trust. It’s so difficult for them to begin with in human-land then they also have to adjust /learn that- There is no threat, and they are secure. She will be very loving Bless her and you both and Messi!

The fact that she's willing to eat in front of you with no barrier between the two of you says she's not terrified of you and doesn't see you as a threat or a danger. She knows you provided her food. With time, I think she'll come to accept you. If you provide every meal and are present while she eats, she'll come to learn that you are her friend. I don't think she's an aggressive cat, just a poor, scared, uncertain girl. The two of you are wonderful for taking such good care of these beautiful animals!! I agree, also the fact that she responds to the commands and motionof the stick, shows that she is willing but just unsure. This video is alreadyover 10 days old, so I would bet there has been good progress with her,hopefully some contact and petting, which will help tremendously.

I don't think humans were mean to her, just that she was only ever worked with with a stick. Human touch creeps her out. And after years of getting bullied by the other cheetahs she has some "no that's mine" issues to work through

Sasha is just so INCREDIBLE! I got so scared watching Ichel lunge forward when Sasha opened the door, he wasn't fazed!! Sasha and Masha are so warm caring loving sensitive wonderful parents. Truly Messi Kira and Ichel are lucky to have them. They aren't pets they are children to them, being so considerate and sensitive about Ichel's emotions. After watching subtitles I understood why Ichel was hissing so much, poor girl was used to guarding and fighting for her food. More than Ichel I want this to succeed because I really have huge respect and love for this family. Sasha 👌🙏

I am the owner of several cats. Some act like this and wolf their food quickly and growl if you get close. Others eat very slowly and delicately. None of mine have ever faced starvation or been left hungry. Sometimes I think it is just the personality of the animal. In this case, The cheetah does not want Sasha near her. She probably would not have been acting that way is Sacha and Macha were not in sight.

@@jillscott4029 Yes, I had forgotten that Cheetahs are on the bottom of the African big cat predators. They eat fast and also will , if they can, drag the carcass up into a tree where wild dogs, hyenas and other cats can't get to it, or them.

Так ведь зоошиза вместе с цирками хочет запретить и зоопарки, и питомники, и частные коллекции... "Дикие животные должны жить в природе", "отпустите животное на волю" и прочий бред. Вы где природу увидели? На антропогенно деградированных территориях? Многие виды сохранились только благодаря зоопаркам и частным коллекциям, в природе больше НЕТ даже сирийского золотистого хомячка: в местах его обитания добывают нефть, какие хомяки! И зубров у нас не было бы, если бы не зоопарки. Кавказский подвид зубра вообще пришлось выводить из помесей с бизоном и серым украинским скотом, причём дважды, после каждой войны заново. А декоративные, морфные животные? Белого питона - тоже в природу? Долго он там проживёт?

@@softwithhard12 Дело в том, что вместе с цирками, не разбирая нюансов, хотят запретить и все остальные способы содержания животных. Уже запретили изымать из природы любых животных, даже нуждающихся в помощи, потому что они - собственность государства. Кто-то добивается уничтожения биоразнообразия на планете: не только места обитания животных разрушают, но и самих животных запрещают из этих мест вывозить и содержать в коллекциях. А ведь в питомниках сохранена и размножена очень незначительная часть видов, и многие виды исчезают раньше, чем их успевают обнаружить и описать. Единственная польза от нового закона та, что, возможно, улучшатся условия содержания животных в цирках и будет более жёсткий контроль за методами дрессировки, если закон заработает.

how frustrating it must be to be such an inherently powerful animal (especially for bursts of running!) but mistreated & kept in small enclosures for life. this poor old cat will need a lot of love, and still be frustrated.. and need to be loved even more because of it. luckily i think this cheetah mightve found the right couple! i sure hope so 💗
