Taming applies to when an individual wild animal has conditioned behavioral modification to reduce it’s natural avoidance of humans, & to tolerate the presence of humans. Domestication is when a significant portion of a wild animal species is selectively bred based on genetic traits which vary depending on species & what humans want from them, but one common trait sought in all these species is their tolerance of humans. Domestication requires several or more generations & results in a permanent genetic modification of a bred lineage with an inherited predisposition toward humans.

Yeah he was meant to be with this family. He has his best forever home and I’m so happy he is loved. I think some animals don’t have certain instincts because each and every animal is an individual. Each is different. They aren’t all the same so they won’t all react the same way. My own cat won’t even kill a cockroach because he’s afraid of it. He has no instinct to kill anything. He runs the other way haha.
