Depends how slim you are. I'm 5'10" 250lbs, so I can't fit in a medium. I can get away with certain L's but I'm mostly an XL. Hope this helps.

I'm 5'8 185 wearing Xl and fits perfect. I feel like they have a slim shape to them an L will work nice for you if your around 150-170 6"1
