I remember this one interview with Mike. He had said that he prays before every single game.. and not for God to give him the "strength to win," or for him to "do his best," but for God to keep all the players safe during the game. I just always thought of this whenever I had seen him play. Good freaking guy.

When did you become judge & jury over her life?I don’t think you understand the real difference between a song & real life. Her songs are just characters she plays,those aren’t her real life nor would she ever kill a guy for cheating on her nor would she destroy someone’s property because she thought her guy was cheating on her. Do you really see her doing any of those things described in her songs in real life?She wouldn’t do any of those things so get over yourself. Tina Faye I told my dad that faith nor being a Christian should be that complicated but sorry to be rude but you’re making this WAY more complicated than it needs to be. I’ve been a Christian my entire life & I don’t need some sanctimonious person who claims to be a Christian telling me that what I believe is wrong. I don’t read into things because it’s just not worth the time or effort to do it.I certainly know the difference between morality & immorality because it’s been ingrained into my mind from day one of being a pastors kid,it’s just something you learn from early on.Yes,there are a lot of things that I look at & have some discernment on that didn’t feel right but sorry this isn’t one of them. It’s called having a check in my spirit & her videos don’t give me that feeling that something isn’t right. There are a lot of things in this world that give me the feeling of it doesn’t feel right or just seems really “off” but to me,this isn’t one of them,it just isn’t. I just don’t need some stranger telling me that what I believe is wrong.You’re making this way more complicated than it really needs to be.I have PLENTY of discernment,trust me. It’s a spiritual gift that I’ve actually learned how to hone over the past few years.

I can tell you for sure that she loves animals because i live right near a veterinarian clinic that she funds to fix animals. Although my little yorkie died 2 months ago they saved her life at one time for an emergency. The place is called happy paws in Checotah I met her mom there. Carrie really loves animals to help them.

I seen A show where that 6 or 7 country female singers were honoring Loretta Lynn and singing some of her songs etc. Carrie Underwood and Reba really put there heart into singing and honoring Loretta Lynn. My husband and I lost our baby in a miscarriage in 1994. We do not have our baby here with us to get him OR her up for school, celebrate their birthdays with, they are not eating with us at the table, they are not in our car going to church, the stores, visit family. Our baby is with Jesus, HE has a rocking chair😊 and we will see him OR her in Heaven. BUT we do have a family member that is not here on earth with us.

A bi thak you to Mike and Carrie from a 75-yr old grannie in Pembroke Ontario. I am sharing this with my two goalie-hockey players (ages 15 and 12) who have been ‘hockey nuts’ collecting hockey cards as long as I can remember. Mike- thank you for demonstrating what a Christian man is, and Carrie thank you for your Little Drummer Boy duet with your son; it is beautiful. And Carrie, thank you for your duet of Amazing Grace (with Ricky Skaggs ?) in which your emotional relationship with God is so profound. I went on paid admin leave. I lost my mom two days later. My life is on a stand still. Just watching this video made me re-think my relationship with God. I’m not where I need to be with him. I love that the name of this is I am Second. Jesus appeared after my surgery and we had a long discussion at the very end of that discussion he told me that we need to Love one another Serve one another and Honor Him and the most important thing is to know that He Is The Great I Am.Had he not told me that He Is The Great I Am. I might have wrote it off as it might’ve been the anesthesia. Through this experience later on I got into the Bible and found out that is what his name is I am. Today I am Gratefully In Love with The Father.

It’s funny because I too said I couldn’t marry a hunter. I met a dream guy years ago. We hit it off immediately and talked for over three hours first meeting. Something was definitely there. Then he mentioned he was going on a hunting trip that weekend and I said, “well it was nice meeting you!” ......and that was that. I know for me and for him it wasn’t going to go anywhere. I didn’t want to make him miserable and I would have been crying every time he had a “successful” hunting trip. Glad it’s worked so well for you two.
