@@reneedennis2011 yes it is it's a very underrated 2pac film which also had an unknown Thandie Newton in the film also.

@@reneperez7903 Yup. I only saw it once with my late mother years ago. I still remember parts of it, more so than movies than I have seen a zillion times.

It's really too bad we only have these shows in potato-vision. Not knocking the posters for archiving what they have. It is what it is. Can't we get some official archives from the rights owners of some quality?
@Kevon4202 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I don't see why there isn't a official, free youtube channel that has all the old, original footage in the highest quality of each and every episode. These are watchable but not great - and some of the youtube uploads have *really* bad audio at times too. I suppose they would need to get the rights to the countless film clips all over again, and that would be an endless nightmare of legal talks a ton of work for basically free content.

It's crazy these episodes are even on here now. Hardly anyone kept permanent vhs recordings of anything on the tv from the 90's and 80's. And honestly, back then, the picture was only a little better than this.

Their review of the special edition broke my heart and their credibility lolol
@Bauglir1003 жыл бұрын
How? It's still the same movie we all know and love, even in spite of the extra stuff that was added in. And they're allowed to have their own opinions. We already have enough people whining about the "Who Shot First?" scene anyway.
@DocJerky3 жыл бұрын
@@Bauglir100 Because I like S&E, but hate the special editions (I thought that would have been easy to infer). As for my opinion the movie: Nothing they added did anything for the plot. The "who shot first" scene is a scene that explains Solo's character. So changing it does impact who he is, whether you believe it to be small or big. All the additions distract from what was already a great plot and movie, and many of the new effects looked dated even at the time of release. In the end, the additions did not make the movie better than it was, so I think they were unnecessary.
@Bauglir1003 жыл бұрын
@@DocJerky Yes, you obviously hate the Special Editions (just like lots of other people), but how does this take away their credibility? Watching this video, it's obvious that Siskel and Ebert cared more about the movie itself instead of just the changes made to the Special Editions. Notice how they talk more about the stuff that's already in the film and only briefly talk about the stuff that was added in? The only added thing they really mentioned in particular was the Jabba the Hutt scene. Overall, they just seemed happy to see these movies they love so much in theaters again after so many years. And this was when the Special Editions were brand new and we didn't really know that they were going to end up permanently replacing the original theatrical versions in all re-releases that were to come.

@@Bauglir100 If you can't read the obvious sarcasm in "broke my heart and their credibility", then I can't help you there. It was a sarcastic way of saying I disagree with them. I saw the Special Ed in theaters too, and walked out completely disappointed. I've watched a lot of their reviews. A LOT, and they have a good amount of bad reviews on famously beloved movies. I don't take any of their reviews personally, or seriously, nor do I with any other professional critic.

@@DocJerky Well it’s fine to disagree with people, but instead of blaming others for not understanding you, you should put more effort into conveying sarcasm through text. Plain, voiceless, emotionless text.
