Way too many unreturned serves from the kids. They seem to feel the idea is to tee off 100% on every second serve, which is great I guess if you're making them, but not when you're dumping them in the net or spraying them, leading to easy holds every time. They have great strokes tho, great attitudes, really fun to watch. Will be looking forward to seeing if they make any adjustments in the second set!

I am not surprised when this first set was only a warmup for the young guys. In hindsight. And they are more dominant make less mistakes in the second set. I can already tell once they are dailed in on the court they play a much higher pace much faster ball then Ian & ira are used to handle once the tall guy gets those forehands over the net more consistent they are in trouble. He has such a big arm. I feel on this court he needs to sit a little lower have an even wider stance, loading those legs, that alone would help him a lot on this court.

Frames that we filmed in, vs. how far the ball traveled and how many frames it took to go that far

@@EssentialTennis Thanks for the reply!. That's my method as well: frames between the contact point and the bounce point. But then I read somewhere on the web that the serve speed is generally measured before the ball bounces, based on some very unlikely claims about the deceleration rate of the ball through the air. I just wondered whether you had a handheld radar gun or use a frame-based approach. Thanks for clarifying!
