That accordion is a nice touch...and pure Tull-ish. This is a very catch tune...wonderful...Anderson is God.

Found this song after listening to Jethro Tull Radio on Pandora. I was always a big Jethro Tull fan, but I never knew that Anderson's solo career had such great songs! Any other great Anderson solo songs?

Its very interesting to read some of the comments here. My two favorite bands of any genre are Jethro Tull and Kamelot. I think part of what makes Ian's music special is that he is kind of in his own world as far as the melding of rock and classical. By this, I mean that I'd imagine he really has no idea how many bands are actually doing it (because few are well known). He seems to still have the attitude that what he's doing is unheard of, which is probably for the better.

@FightingPolygonTeam it's a quena..a sud american flute..formerly it was obtained by the bone of the enemy, precisely by the tibia..the soldier who killed his enemy generally built this kind of flute to guarantuee the good transition between the world of the living and the world of the dead. :-) YAYYYYY IAN ANDERSON hahah

Thank you for the upload very much - but why is the playlist such a mess ? I thought that i could look en hear at the complete thing but after a while there came the same songs back.....If you begain with a logic like 1/20 ..2/20 and so on why do you stop with it after 13 or 14 and I come back to 8 or finf Aqualong wirh only 15 ....? is there a reason or what happend with the playlist ? but anyway...I like the music and wil search for the rest of the songs

You forgot to mention "The Secret Language of Birds". As in, the entire album.

Well yes, we are talking about opinions, whatever you say is possible. It's just that... I don't think he would. He's a postmodernist. It's not the age, it's what he likes about music. I mean, he's extremely British, really tongue-in-cheek humour ("rock on, orchestra!"). The bands you mentioned are all continental- northern - Germanic. (and dare I say not intellectual enough for Ian) They have a different definition of "proper".

I'd have to disagree on the Tarja Turunen thing. I like Tull more with Ian's flute snorts, or at least with a non-classical approach to classical music. Tarja does the opposite: a classical approach to rock music.

I love Roger Waters as well but that is not him. Maybe you just want to make it known that Roger and Ian are at the top of the list. In that case, no argument.
