It's now at the point we may have to be realistic. Randle, going into this season our best player, gone. Brunson, our actual best player and MVP candidate, SEVERELY compromised. Amuoby, our defensive backbone, 3rd best player and our backbone, gone. Hartenstein, our starting center all season, compromised. That's 80% of our starting rotation OUT or COMPROMISED. Robinson, our most important backup, OUT. It isn't meant to be, no one overcomes that. At this point, just root and hope for a miracle and maybe be pleasantly shocked because honestly, there's no shame in losing now. Indiana has ZERO to brag about if they beat us in THIS STATE

Appreciate the efforts but sorry I put almost zero credence in these injury reports. They’ve been more incorrect than not from multiple sources this season and in the playoffs. I can give an example like the “sigh of relief” that Randle was coming back within weeks during the regular season early on, only to later realize that it wasn’t happening. Embiid “questionable” then scoring 50 points, or Maxey “questionable” and scoring nearly 40. Mostly conjecture on these reports from whomever. I feel some of it is just posturing to foil the other teams game plan.

The league wants 7 games. Sports betting clearly has an effect on these outcomes .Way to easy for refs to control momentum and free-throws swing the scores in favor of the spreads . The league ratings are a joke for a reason .

Been saying on this forum for months that Thibs is nuts and it's obviously showing now. He is addicted to one way of thinking and doesn't care about the collateral damage to his players. I agree OG is hurt a lot...BUT...if you were him would you want to re-sign to play for this coach?? Look at Precious too. Dude stepped in big time for us and played 40 minutes a night during the season when we needed him with guys out...then guys come back and our mental coach forgets about him a la Obi. Precious is definitely good enough to be a regular rotation piece. And how long of a career do you think Brunson is going to have (see D Rose) under this guy. I am one of the biggest Knicks fans you'll ever see and I'm never giving up with these guys...they make us proud...but just sayin'...........
