The concept of global leadership must undergo a complete transformation. We need a new global collective vision. We need collective security founded on justice. Therefore, a new democratic global governance is essential. Without it, chaos will accelerate. Why no one talks about these issues?

I disagree with Ian Bremmer in some areas, but he's a good speaker and I share his preference for global cooperation over war. I found it puzzling that like many mainstream journalists and speakers lately, IAN avoided mentioning BRICS, which is a growing global development central to his topic. Is it because the growth of BRICS brings his perception of our western dominated 'global world order' into question?
@Aan_allein

Is BRICS even really a thing though? The Brazilians are western hemisphere centric. The Russians are international pariahs. The Indians are quasi-isolationists. The Chinese are having major economic problems, and South Africa is a basket case. There's no alliance there economic or otherwise. They all have seperate interests, that some times clash violently like with the Chinese and the Indians who are the two most powerful members since the Russians invaded Ukraine.
@JohnPartyka
@JohnPartyka 2 күн бұрын
@@chrisreed4065 That may have been so, but global alliances are shifting. Many new countries have requested inclusion into BRICS, presumably to bypass the US$ and/or to avoid US tariffs. BRICS is growing as a trade alternative and it's at least worthy of consideration.
@chrisreed4065
@chrisreed4065 2 күн бұрын
@@JohnPartyka So let's say that they come up with a BRICS dollar. Who mananges it? The Chinese? They would manipulate it to the other members expense. The Russians? Same deal. The Brazilians don't have the wherewithal and anyone who would suggest South Africa would be laughed out the room. That leaves the Indians, the Russians might go for that but the Chinese would walk. This would also mean that India would stop being a fence-sitter in regards to U.S./Russia which would be a complete one-eighty of their foreign policy since the founding of the nation, by putting them firmly on the Russian side. If not in actuality then at least in the mind of the U.S. State Department.

Good talk though as an Israeli with a day by day understanding of the Middle East I disagree with the statement that Netanyahu does not want peace and prosperity and a cooperative just and equitable end to the current conflicts. But the west allows the obvious reality to be subverted by its inability to accept what the pro Muslim Brotherhood and Palestinian street and Iran terrorist say and do openly and privately.

Iran getting nuclear weapons is the biggest geo political issue we aren’t focusing on. It doesn’t look like anyone can really stop them save a boots on the ground intervention. During the joint session on January 6, 2017, seven House Democrats tried to object to electoral votes from multiple states.Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) objected to Alabama's votes. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) objected to Florida's votes. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) objected to Georgia's votes. Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) objected to North Carolina's votes. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) objected to the votes from North Carolina in addition to votes from South Carolina and Wisconsin. She also stood up and objected citing "massive voter suppression" after Mississippi's votes were announced. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) brought up allegations of Russian interference in the election and malfunctioning voting machines when she objected following the announcement of Michigan's votes. Maxine Waters (D-Calif) rose and said, "I do not wish to debate. I wish to ask 'Is there one United States senator who will join me in this letter of objection?'" after the announcement of Wyoming's votes.
