“If there’s a war between Israel and Iran and the Americans are dragged in, Trump will win.”
Netanyahu is accepting “greater risks” to drag the US into war with Iran to save his own presidency. In turn, this could bring down Biden at the upcoming election says Ian Bremmer.

If we as the west would have stood firmly as one, and we had done absolutely everything to support Ukraine to win their country back from attacker, it would have happened already. But unfortunately, at this moment west seems to be divided and weak. There is serious division among NATOmembers in Europe and in United States between pro Ukraine politicions and pro Russia politicions. It's incredible how foolish the western nations stil are, when they don't understand how dangerous this situation really is.

The inability of most people to accept, let alone try to work with, the complexity of the real world is at the root of almost all of the greatest issues we face. The childlike clinging to black and white, x caused y, thinking leads the daft conspiracies so many believe in. It enables the worst types of people to gain and maintain power, spewing endless, ridiculous soundbites which in the 'media landscape' most pay attention to, greatly influenced by the likes of Twitter, has generally turned away from any kind of meaningful discussion or in depth analysis. People rage about the Trumps and the Farages; about our political systems. But it's all enabled by the ignorance, tribalism, stupidity and inability to think critically of such a depressingly large proportion of the people out there.

It's crazy to say a Trump second term will be characterized with uncertainty. If there is any politician, we all know what he is about, it is Trump. We have dealt with him before. He is the most known quantity ever in American and world politics. If he comes back, you can be certain that he'll have more of an impetus to carry out his policies. No ambiguity or uncertainty there.

Nope. The majority of Americans, including those who are not committed to a particular party, know how important it is that Trump never again be let near the White House. His own cabinet and former VP know this and have spoken out about it. And his criminal charges are not going to magically go away. Someday (and hopefully someday soon), he will no longer be the focus of everything in this country. But until that day, we must endure the daily onslaught of news regarding the Tangerine Tyrant.

Trump grossly mishandled the Covid "flue" that grocery stores ran out of common staples, prices shot up and never came down despite the lowest fuel prices since the 90s. It turned out that Trump allowed meat packers export meats rather than put it in the freezers at the stores. Hard to see the truth with MAGA blinders on.

Ian, what other nations are even remotely near the US in autonomous drone operations? In fact, China does not even have any drone fighters like the US XQ-58A Valkyrie platforms and will not for many many years. China can't even build a proper 5th generation fighter that can compete with technologies the US had developed AND DEPLOYED over twenty years ago... What you are describing sounds like a good Tom Clancy novel, but it is not reality. Asymmetric opportunities are minimal for US adversaries in the coming decades, as the US only gets more and more advanced. The reason why the US is not worried about China's new PL-15 air to air missile is because it's range advantages are easy to counter, especially with stealth technology. In any event, testing is complete on the new US JATM missile, which matches China's PL-15 range, and is now in rushed production. Age like milk is right!
