Football is constantly evolving. Back in the pre war era wingers crossed the ball for a big center forward to head home, center halts defended and inside forwards provided the energy and movement. Post war England were humiliated by Hungary 6-3 and 7-1 and forced the English game to modernise. Result in 1966 England playing 4 3 3 changed the patterns. It doesn't really matter what system or what style a team or coach promotes. Football is still a simple game and successful teams will always be copied and envied. The present system of pressing and phased build up will, eventually, be overtaken by a new system if that system is successful. The kids kicking a ball in the streets, on the park or in their garden dont care. They're just having fun emulating their hero!

It would be great if you could shoot this training from the drone to see exactly what the coach is talking about.

My only small piece of feedback is to perhaps ask the players, "Where can you be to make it harder for the opposition to press?" If they answer correctly, Great, show me. That way you get the players to think and solve problems.

God knows how many passes to get from one end to the other and half of them going backwards boring the spectators with overcoached individual players not expressing there creative skills but playing football like a game of chess sometimes without a shot on target the entire game because of restrictions within the framework of a certain style. A lot of games today are so boring that you watch it and think it's all very well keeping the ball but where's the excitement, with every game being the same week in week out. Time wasting, diving, cheating all now encouraged by clubs. It would be refreshing to see a coach/manager take his own player off the field for abusing the spirit of the game,,,, but of course it ain't going to happen.

This is absolute nonsense, football is a team game and you need structure to control games, in this clip he praises players for playing risky passes to advance play. Also this clip is about build up play, once you're in the final third, that's the best time to show individuality, not much to be gained by doing it in your own half.
