@@m.josephmccarthy2553 Ian was riding a Flexflight 9' x 60 litres while I now ride the NEW Flexflight 9'1" Crescent Tail in the 77 litres with the Thruster / Quad setup as I am now Ian's size. Our current State Champ rides Flexflight over the TJ Pro as the Flexflight is more refined in shape. You will find the Firewire "tuff as" and extremely lively under foot due to the Parabolic Rail Flex that adds drive and speed. Cheers from Western Australia.

​@@gmick52 Nice info! Do you think an 8' flexflight FST (49.8L) might be a little to small for someone 145 Lbs/5'8"? I usually like 8' boards but the Flexflight is half an inch narrower and about 5 Liters smaller than what I am used to. I'm intermediate and average paddler. Thank you!

@@dekismokton2407 Hi Deki, the 8' Flexflight would be fine as all the Firewire Timbertec boards are generous with floatation. Also have you looked at the Advance (designed by Taj Burrow's Father Vance) The Advance is a great performer and an ideal suitcase board for Indo at 7'6". Both Taj and Vance live in Yallingup Western Australia where Kanga came from. Once you ride a Firewire Timbertec board you will instantly feel performance.
