It always produces Honor towards others and in all situations, no matter the outcome. The opposite of that is when someone produces dishonor over others and situations/things.

I greatly appreciate this teaching on the difference between a spirit of excellence vs an excellent spirit. I wanted to point out that in the section about Daniel I’m having a hard time with what you said about Daniel being the 4th man because the king that saw the 4 men in the furnace was not the king that threw Daniel in the lions den. It was King Nebuchadnezzar in the furnace event and King Darius in the lions den event.

I’m a little confused as to why Ian believes it was Daniel in the furnace with the other three. Is there scriptural evidence to support that position or did he receive it by revelation?

@@Isak-TroskieI’m asking because there’s a discrepancy in what he stated about Daniel which got me thinking about it further. He says the king who looked in the furnace and saw the 4 men walking around was the same king who beheld him in the lions den. However, those were 2 different kings. King Nebuchadnezzar was the one who built the golden statue and King Darius was the one who had Daniel cast into the lions den. That important detail undermines his teaching on that for me.
