Even still, they were at a comedy show, and lets say he told a hilarious joke right before this one, and people were laughing really hard...the next time he goes for an applause break people are going to laugh at anything, because of the momentum he's created. One of my best friends has a son with Downs, and it would be a lot easier to find this stuff funny if people didn't treat them so badly. If you laugh, try to be the person who is willing to smile at them and not look away because it might ruin your day. I went to see Joe Rogan at the comedy store just before L.A. got locked down due to Coronavirus and this guy was actually one of the comedians in the line up. I don't think anyone else knew who he was but I knew right away. He didn't get the biggest laughs of the night but he was good.
