This is a weird moment where I feel boxing is correct with having mandatories. Colby buried his own grave with trying to promote it but then ducked it, likely because of the horrible embarrassment if he lost to Garry, but hey, he could've had some extra money with how many eyes would've been attracted to the fight and the 303 card, now he might get fed to Shavkat without all the bonus.

Not only has Colby been calling Ian Gary out, which Ian Gary accepted, but it’s the natural state of things for a higher ranked fight to give a lower ranked fighter an opportunity. we just seen Dustin Poirier put his career on the line against BSD. Colby is like one - three and his last four and he hasn’t beaten anyone in the top 10 since 2018. This isn’t 2020 no more. Colby wants small or old fighters.
