I´m a believer that everything happens for a reason. Something you only see when time has passed, and clarity has arrived. So if we miss out on OLISE this time again, I would be disappointed but still optimistic. We have quality players, and we have a few players joining us in January 2025.

Chelsea normally move quick and on point to get player. Taking so long means player and directors cannot find a deal. Either Olise wants “a lot” (above 150K) or Directors trying to low ball Olise.

Need a conversation about the role of Nkunku. He’s not a traditional winger that Enzo likes (sterling/mudyk on the left and olise madueke right). Clearly looking for another big striker so Jackson + Duran. Therefore palmer and nkunku both play against each other for cam spot…debatably our two best players

In terms of Chalobah, Guehi and Olise. Bring Guehi to Chelsea and have Trevoh Chalobah, Colwill, Guehi and Fofana as the centre back options. When Cucurella began playing a more central role he had 8.5 out of 10 performances. Caicedo's performances enhanced to a quality level. Enzo Fernandez could have higher numbers growing up idolising Frank Lampard we will hope to see a midfielder who will score goals. I believe Enzo to be an 8 who keeps play ticking over always available and will venture forward and pop shots off and put a shift in defensively

It's not that I don't think Maatson is a quality player but to be honest I don't think Maatson is perfectly suited for the way we wa t to play. If we didn't already have Maatson on the books do I think Chelsea would be looking at him as a target? I don't think so. Another thing is selling Maatson at this price takes us 1 step closer to not having to sell Gallagher. Between Maatson and Hall we have raised approx 70 mil

The player is the young lad Kellyman, great prospect but not one of our heavy hitters at the Villa. Duran is a monster. If you get him and give him a run then he will be lightning. When he hits that ball it bloody stays hit, similar to Hasselbaink and Batistuta. He has an attitude problem though and it's causing issues at the Villa due to Watkins being ahead of him but he can become elite. I'll be sad to lose him because I can see him easily hitting 15 plus goals a season with ease.
