Great interview! I’d never heard this one before. I love hearing Ian laughing so much. I adore his confidence and swagger. He never needed to prove anything to anyone. He most definitely has a “gift for writin words.” 💜💜💜

Ahh Mac, it broke my heart to miss your recent US tour. If I weren't leery of flying over water, I'd visit Liverpool to finally see & hear you & the other Bunnymen. Your music was most definitely magic for me, as a young lass, & my love for it never waned. BTW, ya look smart in glasses ❤🖤

I find him to be so charming. I'd love to sit and have a chat with him. We'd probably crack up the whole time because I myself am a goofball, but he is brilliant, at least I think he is. I am NOT brilliant, so perhaps, it would be a good juxtaposition yes? 😁☮

It's like he was visited by the Muses when he was 15 and has been kind of scorched by it . Music should be about magic . He's careful to protect that even now. Being the star, but not killing it with cheesiness, except to be funny. That's what does stand out about the Bunneymen. You can get magic easy when you are 19 , but you need a structured path of self development later. If you don't get too po-faced about it it keeps you young.
