Ian Ward is a great, great pundit; really a personal favourite.

Ward, Hussein, Atherton, Bumble, Holding were the best modern day group... Right up there with the Ch9 team of the 80s, especially when Tony Cozier joined them.

@@colinmorrison5119 india just lost 1 test series in 12 years No point saying india is loosing at home too 😂😂😂😂😂 Once in 12 years is called fluke , law of averages and etc etc India is still a beast at home and very good away especially on bouncy tracks

@@ce11amitkumaryadav83oh no, did that comment hurt your feelings, love? Let’s not mince our words. India got their asses handed to them by New Zealand because they got too big for their boots!! Perhaps you should take note also.

Obvious remarks of Ian ward he's been altogether fall in love with Brooks century while summerising third day today of England's team that was quite good hopefully England will lead its troops to positive outcome from first tests performance bit by bit, second test gonna extremely watchful even if NZ won this but this is about to proceedings however England is very dominant in third day ending 😊

NZ have made Eng look good. Eight dropped catches - that won't happen again. If even half those chances are made Eng is facing a 100+ run deficit on the first innings. You have to thank the charitable Kiwis who seem to be having trouble coming off the high of the Indian series. I don't expect them to play this badly again in this series as it is all but certain Eng go 1-0 up.

The record for most dropped catches or chances is 9 in an innings NZ nearly equalled the record at 8

If you went thru the journalistic records of test matches over the past 150 years you would find results of not only more catches being in an innings being dropped but also of clear catches being given not out, plumb lbw's being given not out etc. Many batsmen's great innings would be seen as being flawed when you knew the full details. One example being the first innings in the 1954 Brisbane Ashes test, 12 catches missed plus one stumping and one run out missed.
@Trajan240122 күн бұрын
I just looked it up the record is 9 in an innings so just missed out on the record.

Are England playing cricket??? It's not on my tv. But then again, I don't have TNT Sports!! I'm already paying enough for Sky Sports to not be able to watch England cricket tour matches, Champions League, Guinness Premiership Rugby, NBA, etc, etc. What else are Sky Sports going to lose next? But hey ho, we now have round the clock tennis to watch now 😴

No way. Jamie Smith is our on his own. Great keeper and a destructive batsman..Pope and Crawley are our weakest links. My team for Oz Ahmed 11 Wood 10 Potts 9 Carse 8 Gus 7 Smith at 6 stokes at 5 Root at 4 Brook at 3 Bethal and Duckett opening.

@ I agree. The comment was tongue in cheek to reflect an England predilection to seize opportunities to go for a batsman/keeper rather than a keeper/batsman
