Ian was at the scene where three men were shot dead at Pizza Boys in Cunupia on Sun 14th July, 2024

The country has recorded its fourth triple murder after three men were gunned down outside Rituals Coffee House and Pizza Boys in Cunupia on Sunday 14th July, 2024.
• The deceased were identified as 24-year-old Dave Lyons, a coast guard officer of Alley Drive, Sea Trace, Diego Martin; 35-year-old Earl peters of Corner Savannah #2 Road and Diego Martin Main and 22-year-old JahMarley Goddard, of Bagatelle Road, Diego Martin.
• Around 12:06pm, officers were on duty at the Cunupia Police Station, when they received information of a shooting in the vicinity of Rituals Coffee Shop along the Southern Main Road in Cunupia.
• When they arrived at the scene, they observed a silver Subaru registered PCB 3538 parked in the carpark, with multiple bullet holes.
• Upon further investigations, they discovered Lyons lifeless body lying on the ground outside the driver’s side of the vehicle bleeding from multiple gunshot injuries, while Peters who was in the front Passenger seat and Goddard who was in the back seat were also seen bleeding from gunshot wounds.
• The officers summoned a DMO to the scene who viewed the body, made their pronouncements and ordered the bodies to be removed to the Forensic Science Centre.
• Homicide Crime Scene Investigators also responded and recovered (24) 9MM Spent shells, (15) 5.56 spent shells, (2) 7.62 spent shells, (1) live round of 9mm ammo and (1) deformed projectile.
• W/SGT Stephen-James is continuing the enquiries.
The last triple murder took place on Saturday 22nd June, 2024, when 20-year-old Andre Maloney, 21-year-old Malcolm Richardson and 17-year-old Sherwin McFarlane were shot and killed inside a house along Mendoza Street, Matura.
