Good catch on the radiator punctures, that IS exactly how I punctured my 300R radiators, the overflow screw pushed into the fins so 100% valid.

Hey Robbo, glad to see you started prepping the 300...curious of your thoughts on how close it is to say a 2017 KTM 300 ..I know you had one of those...I feel like this is gonna be the best Off- Brand or Non- Big Five bike ever. I think swingarm gaurds are pointless

@@RobboRobinson the only reason to install them is for resale value but your stuck looking at shitty plastic covers for the ownership of your bike . And honestly swing arms don’t take a hole lot of beating and they still clean up nice after years of use .

@@scottc4433 I totally disagree. Resale for some people is one reason to have them. But as far I I’m concerned if I did not use them the swingarm would be scarred beyond any possibility of being cleaned up to look nice. Riding rocks , stream beds and over any other immovable objects can beat the crap out of a swingarm. Ride an event like Sea to Sky in Turkey without swingarm guards and see what the bikes like afterwards.

@@RobboRobinsonI can only absolutely AGREE with you. My small KLX 140/190 have no Swingarm Guards, and is plastered with deep Scars.
