For anyone who has never experienced what this teacher is trying to teach, you wouldn't believe it unless you experienced it. It's not about strength. I had a long time friend, mentor and teacher who despite his lack of strength compared to mine could always get me off my balance like this teacher is demonstrating and end up making me look like a fool. He knew I was stronger than him by far but he was by comparison a master of deflection. It is so subtle and surprisingly effective given the right circumstances, this martial art. Virtually lost. This is the best demonstration I've seen on the world wide web.

It's not as lost as you might think. The art is still very much alive

I truly appreciate how Sinclair (well-versed in physics) uses mechanics to explain internal martial arts concepts instead of mystical explanations. I don't blame the old masters for using the concept of 氣 (qi/ki) to explain because they had no grasp of physics, so how could they?
