Gentleman, I have seldomly heard such a perfect and moving creation. And I say 'moving', for that is what this album is. A moving masterpiece, continuously dangling from melancholy to fury to solitude to restless transitions into fiery heights and depths of universal magnificence. A poetic album to say the least, and what a journey to listen to this wonderful piece of music. To have worked on this for 6 years must have been one hell of a journey as well, but I bow my head to your persistance. And to release it for free is a sign of even greater musicianship - I cannot stress enough how wondrous this album is, and how you have already become my 2017 favourite. I have but two questions: will this ever be released as a physical copy? And will you ever do live performances?
@iapetusband-official76447 жыл бұрын
Words cannot express our gratitude, Didier -- thank you for taking the time to listen, and thank you for the incredible compliments! It was quite the journey, but feedback like this has made it all worthwhile. To answer your questions: 1) Yes, there will be physical copies, hopefully in the next few weeks. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for announcements. They will be limited (at first), and we will also be giving them away for free. 2) At the moment, we have no plans for live performances -- a feat that would be quite difficult considering we're only a two-man operation. We certainly would like to perform, though. Should we find fitting and capable stage musicians, it's more than likely that we will. Thank you again for your kind words! Cheers!

First off: what an honour to see my comment fastened by you - it humbles me beyond compare! Secondly: yes! In that case, I will keep an open eye out on your page and make sure to be there first when the physicals come out! Recently, I have been advising this entire record to all my friends and you can say for sure that not one of them came back disappointed. Your music is of universal quality, ready to encompass all fans of every musical genre. And third: I do hope you will ever find such people! A Iapetus show is what I would gladly pay my euros for! Cheers again, gentlemen!

as some what as a connoisseur of obscure metal, this is by far and away the best I've heard in years, and can never get it out of my head. this is like finding some long lost 1000 year old bottle of wine.

Probably one of the best progressive-melodeath albums I've listened to this year. The music has an identity of its own which is hardly seen in the new bands these days. So i say, GREAT WORK!! keep it up! and good luck on your journey.

Am I tripping or does Savior Solitude take some inspiration from Iced Earth's Question of Heaven by the end? It would be awesome if it did, two of my favorite bands
@iapetusband-official76446 күн бұрын
It absolutely does, haha - you're the first person to notice! Iced Earth is also one of my favorite bands, and Question of Heaven is one of my favorite songs of all-time. Their influence can be found hidden all over our music.

Would you ever consider making a vocal track for this album?
@iapetusband-official76447 жыл бұрын
Hey Christian, I'm not sure what you mean by that -- like an isolated vocal track?
@christiansksk23527 жыл бұрын
All ment was add vocals to the album really, so there would be two versions; one with the vocal track and one without. I would love to hear this with vocals.
@iapetusband-official76447 жыл бұрын
There are vocals! Only the first and last tracks are instrumentals.
