I feel like this needs to be said because people are clearly unfamiliar with my twitch and also dont fully understand how this process works. These are my viewers, very often it is people who i talk to in dms, or in twitch chat. These are done live and a huge aspect of these videos is to have the community and myself interact and have fun, every person in the video is consenting to a public review and are fully aware of how the feedback will be. People getting defensive and thinking this is me being rude are clearly unfamiliar with my twitch community and you have no say in speaking for these individuals. Nobody from these videos has told me they were offended or upset by the coaching, everyone who has reached out has been nothing but kind and thankful. You guys clearly dont realize the time ive spent developing connections with my twitch viewers and some of you need to stop speaking for them. They have their own voices. Also to add some extra info, private coaching i offer has no memeing, no jokes just straight information, for public coaching (like this) it is intented to be more light hearted and entertaining for everyone involved, I'm not tryna turn my videos into hour long lectures. i want us to have fun and laugh along the way, everyone involved is mature enough to understand this

I love these videos! Helps my play group and I immensely. How do you handle submissions? Do I have to catch you on twitch and/or request through there? My group and I play well together, but I do feel we make simple mistakes that end up causing us to crumble. Oversight from a group of dedicated players would be great.

I am not familiar with your twitch but also okay on the way the vod is handed. A good feedback isn't about petting the players head but focusing on mistakes and how they can improve throughout that There's some people that looks like they're salt flowers.

Different things for different situations. High elo prioritize tacticals and projectile weapons, low elo throw everything they want and could. While a lot of higher ranks may argue that your point is very much valid - I think so too, but some things just work wonders although they seem to give no value to the team. CNS (pun intended) is actually a pretty dang solid ability in bronze-plat despite it being somewhat "selfish". It's the ability of forgiveness for Heavies. Escape, high damage, enemy displacements, big AoE, and versatile enough to be paired with most gadgets. The charge prevent steals, slam prevent steals, coupled with stupidly high damage. While high elo typically has crazy aim and think quick, bronze-plats sometimes just panic when they face CnS, which indirectly translates to a "mental warfare". Charging? Players will most likely run so in that meantime Heavy could think of something to turn the situation into his advantage. With those said, I think this is a very interesting discussion topic. Who knows just how much info you could dig with a simple ooga booga CnS 😂 I have a feeling they will be nerfing CnS later. This ability covers way too much aspects other than range.

One thing I saw a lot in this clip is the contestant wasnt playing with their team. And there’s usually a rule I always live by in team games, to counter act that train of thought. It’s better it make a bad play as a team then it is to try and make a good play separately.

“Even just picking up a mic goes a long way” 1:20 I picked up a mic a couple months back, but NO ONE TALKS (I either solo queue or play with my boy). I’m top 15k in the world for world tour and I don’t play much ranked but I’m silver and maybe one person in every four games talks across both modes. It’s so frustrating because communication is crucial and nobody talks or just has their mic constantly on picking up every noise in their entire house and never speaking

Yea I agree. This game has amazing in game chat I feel and then no one fucking uses it. Or they’ll lurk in the VC and listen to my comms but not use their mic the whole game. Usually if they do it’s to apologize for some brain dead shit or to say gg at the end. Like WHAT IS THE POINT THEN? Most mfs I do come across with a mic and actual thumbs I add and we try and run things back but the community is dying in that regard. I just can’t find anyone to play consistently with who actually is enjoyable to be around/decent as a player

@ I can see your POV but in my hundreds of experiences with randoms online, only like 1% are weirdos. Most are normal ppl just playing video games for fun. Especially on the finals I haven’t met anyone actually weird, maybe a few were a little annoying but that’s it. And a majority of the bad experiences with mfs on mic blaming me for every mistake or whatever were in comp so yeah

I think it’s worth noting that the loadout picks of lower elo players aren’t just often different because they don’t know the best picks, the actual viability of things is quite dramatically different when you or your opponents are worse players. For example, weapons with high damage per shot / slower fire rates get disproportionately worse for players with lower hit rates, hence why model was still considered too strong by high elo players and why so many others were confused about the recent nerf. And weapons like the flamethrower that are very forgiving for aim feel disproportionately strong. Same kind of applies to gadgets, a lot of gadgets you won’t get much use out of without understanding what strategies work well with them and alternately some strategies are far more effective against players who don’t know how to deal with them.

53:02 Looking at the bottom left he seems to be the only one in voice, so his teamates chose not to have a mic and to not even listen, if someone would use mic. That's one of the main problems in low elo, many people don't even join the voice chat, so you have to type in chat. But in terms of not staying with his team, i agree, that's his decision.

What works in higher elo doesn’t necessarily work for lower elo due to a number a factors, including playing against lower skilled players with different load outs. Telling lower skilled players to use the goo gun is dumb as shit my guy. I get what you’re doing - but you’re out of touch. The meta for high elo is different than low elo for a reason. Lmao idk man. I’m currently ranked gold, and i play flex but mainly Heavy; I don’t see why C&S is seen as bad. It’s useful in saving steals, damage potential when no gadgets or ammo, and obviously destruction.

they take some feedback, but sadly i'd say the majority of it is ignored, i think CnS nerf and the cashout value changes were the only things this patch that was taken from the group. its mainly to discuss how to keep the comp scene happy without ruining the core game/casual scene. I personally don't think it's been as productive as I'd want but it's in an early state to be honest

The meta is just different among servers. In Asian server, no one is running other specialization besides charge n slam (like 95%) even in high elo and tournament. Same with light’s cloak, lights with LH1 in Asia mostly run grapple. I think asian server is the hardest server to play on, most people are good mechanically and the rest are using cheats. The videos of EU & NA ruby rank and Korean tournaments are uploaded to Chinese platforms, most comments (even the winner of the Chinese tournament)are saying that the meta is weird running mesh shield/winch claw, c4 for drop, and cloak and can be destroyed by any good Asian teams. What’s your thoughts on the meta difference and which server do you think will win a world championship if there is one? (Micro and Macro diff?)

First of all charge n slam is absolutely useless against a heavy that sticks to his team. Either the medium demats you mid charge, you get winched or you get stunned. Grapple is also useless for open field battles where you have no highground to grapple to. Invis is useful for engaging and disengaging a fight + plus breaking aim assist of roller players everytime you go invis. I'd like to see a legit asian team play against a high elo EU / NA Team. My bets would be on EU / NA

@@T0SR asian servers meta typically relies on solo play and not team work, probably because of the massive regional differences in language etc. But they do tend to be behind in skill in the finals even the leaderboards is pretty void of asia region players. I think if it came to a lan with all regions asia would not make it far

And I think turret will be more powerful than those two when lobby is at lower elo because bad player unable to fight back.

lot of heavies or hml teams bring glitches to shut down domes lot of triple / double mediums, bring frags to get kills on defibs lot of lights, bring thermals if you believe/know they will be invis. If no invis, bring one of the other gadgets above

Doesn’t do enough you’re better off with a grenade. There’s so much better items. For example I use a proximity grenade (which isn’t that common on medium) and If I want that same effect I put one on the cashbox and as soon as I see someone near it I go for the kill and my team sees them too

I hear you mention low ELO versus highi ELO a lot and associated gadgets for each. But it would be helpful if you added commentary around how to use the gadgets. For example, I hear a lots. The gateway is a metagadget for light. I get the gist of how to use it but not the strategy

@T0bi3as I feel like in bronze lobbies you're probably going to be better off going w/ dash sword, smoke, thermal and gateway to get all the plugs. In bronze you can't rely on teammates to understand the plug meta so it really might be worth hyperfocusing like that. Ofc thermal and smoke can be swapped out for goo nade, invisible bomb, stun gun etc but smoke and thermal might be a better choice especially on doubled cashouts.

Yea, it's not difficult, u just have to put a lot of hrs and consistent grinding into it, I hit Emerald 1 about 2 weeks ago, and it was a painful grind, lol. It will be a lot easier if u can get 1 or 2 friends to play with, as solo q can be seriously ass. But just remember u don't lose any points for losing. U only gain. Also, ignore what people say in text chat and just use what you are comfortable with. If u play well with something that is not "meta," then use it. It only makes sense. But good luck bro on the grind.

@Anytraa Well, the quality of games is better in ranked, since people actually try in that mode, whereas a world tour is like watching 2 toddlers figure out the difference out between a triangle and a square, plus there is no matchmaking in WT so one min u could be going against top 500 and the next day one players, same thing applies to your teammates really. Whereas ranked people actually try and play the game properly as you can lose points in that mode for playing shit.
