no actually, the optional syllabus is more or less similar to that of the undergraduates. So, you have to read all of the topics that UG students study for three years. I'm pursuing my UG in this subject and I agree with the book lists prescribed by him. We, UG students refer to these books. THEY AREN'T BULKY, THE ARE RECOMMENDED
