I've been looking at all of your WK2 videos. Did you choose the K&N over another brand of intake for a specific reason? I see several out there available but not much feedback.

I chose K&N because it was reasonably priced and their advertised HP gains done on a dyno.

Michael Plummer Thank you so much for response! I feel like I may follow your lead on your mods. May I ask more questions as they come up?

You should look into "jay Greene racing" for a custom tune

I have "Custom tunes" from Diablo and HemiFever. Both tunes made basically the same HP & TQ on the dyno. Can't see how his tunes are going to do anything substantially better.

Michael Plummer do some research on the hemi forums sometime. I had a hemi fever tune on my ram and it was garbage after getting tuned by jay Greene

Michael Plummer and the dyno peak numbers mean nothing when it comes to covering ground. It's about the shift points and air flow. The more time you spend in your peak power rpms, the faster you'll go down the road. Sure you may make 600hp, but if your spending most of your time below 4K rpms, and the hp curve is at 450hp at that rpm, you're not utilizing the power you have

I assume you already know that, but jay Greene has been the leading hemi tuner for YEARS. Just a suggestion

Okay, this is not my first rodeo. I have a 94 Mustang GT that makes 892rwhp tuned by me. I'm fully aware of area underneath the curve and how a vehicle can make less peak HP but still be faster in the quarter mile. Air, fuel, spark and compression. The tuner can't change the compression, it is, what it is on a stock vehicle. The same applies to air at WOT. NOTHING the tuner can do to change that. So the tuner can add more timing or advance and the same applies to fuel. Knock sensor sensitivity can be adjusted along, shift points and decreasing the delay from drive by wire and that's basically it. I heard the same about HemiFever when I joined a jeep forum. How the Diablo tune was no good and how this guy would make more power. Go checkout my videos, there is only so much you can do. Now if your guy wants to offer money back if he can't best either of these tunes than let's do it. Heck, I'll drive 80 miles back to dyno to try anything but this time I need a money back guarantee if he does basically the same.
