In the very last question, how do you know to put the North and South poles on the x-axis and not the y-axis? And would it even make a difference? What is the thought process behind the construction of your graph?

Well, the reason I placed it on the x-axis is purely because I found that we'd have to do volume/area of revolution in the next step. Since the formulae provide we're for revolution about the x-axis and the dimensions given could best be represented by a semi-circle in those dimensions, I did it like that.

The papers can be purchased on the official folletib website or can be bought by your school. I can direct you to discord channels and websites that have free non-copyright IB resources though.
