Hello sir, paper 1 was unfortunately disasterous i am only confident about 9 questions but anyways.. really appreciate these.. but for the euler method question how can we do it on the gdc recursion mode

Hi Hazaard sorry to hear about the Paper 1; I haven't seen the IB papers but let's focus on Paper 2 👍 For Euler's Method (such as the video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJDWgJJnotupbMU) I use the graph function on the TI Nspire for the recursion mode, do you have a CG50 instead? Do you mean the A value for the question at the timestamp?
@vHazaard2 жыл бұрын
@@GingerMathematician Yes i have a CG50 and i have watched that vide of yours thanks a lot however for such a question i guess we have no solution but to do it by hand... also based on the topics that come on apper 1 below. may you please give a slight prediction of what topics to foucs on.. i will be focusing on eulers, eigenvectors, and 2nd order differntial equations and im sure a voronoi diagram will come along those and maybe optimization... but i really need any advice perhaps.. a position vector question may also come up on paper 2.. heres the list of paper 1 qs and topics today: Two way table Probability with replacement An upper bound lower bound calculation for arc length and we were told measurement is only accurate to 1 sf then asked to find percentage error and justify which is highest between the lower and upper bound A finance question but with functions? 5 marker geometric sequence: We were told u2 is 4 less than u1 and we’re told the sun inifnity geometric to be 9.. then asked for the 3rd term “with justification” Type I Type II error Very weird format... 1 variable test Cubic regression line equation and simultaneous equation ->find whole values of a, b, c Trapezoidal rule Integral area Finance( r-i, inflation.. real value, etc) Trigonometry Inverse function and then intersection of the inverse and the original function : ln (1/x-2) A 2 mark question on position vector given a sin and cos squared coordinate somehow and asked to find velocity vector A very unique complex number question Re(sin(t)^2) + Re (cos(t)^2) And 2 questions I barely got to attempt :( Context of the question just in case others did it and remember: a snail question involved with area and integral (seperable differential?" etc and a maximum voltage question

hey, paper 1 was great and a big part of the reason was your video showing the steps for the may paper. Left a few sub parts but still very confident. Every time I try to attempt a paper two I loose focus when I find one of the sub parts tricky and feel demotivated and unable to complete the rest of the sum. Any advice?
@GingerMathematician2 жыл бұрын
Hi Abcd glad you enjoyed the Paper 1 walkthrough. For Paper 2 really maximise your marks on the topics you know - if you understand optimisation well then ensure you get the full marks on that question. ALso if you find a sub part tricky, go onto the next question and let your mind sub-consciously think it through so you can come back to it 🙂👍
