I think there is a mistake at 37:56. Shouldnt cot(pi/12) be +2-sqrt(3)? You also changed the signal of the root (from negative to positive) and not just the signal of the 2... Thanks

How is cot(pi/12) be +2-sqrt(3)? Isn't that what tan(pi/12) is equal to? because its +/- 2 in the quadratic equation, not +/- sqrt(3)

I didn't understand where t+5 comes from in the 11 b

In part of the equation he has -40te^(-t/4) - 200e^(-t/4) and factors out -40e^(-t/4). Removing this from -40te^(-t/4) leaves you with t and removing this from -200e^(-t/4) leaves you with 5 leaving you with -40e^(-t/4) * (t+5).
