Cwmfelinfach Transmitter mentioned at 6:11 had a poor picture due to it being located on the side of the mountain it was stood on, picture was ghosty which was much worse on windy day's, much better now though with Digital TV

Some of IBA engineering announcements I used to edit we did it all In Winchester IBA center! Allways an eye on teletext! On air every Tuesday good sauce of info! Definitely lacking today!

Cwmfelinfach Transmitter at 6:10, i used to live in the village of the same name for 10 years , put up with a poor picture quality due to ghosting which was much worse in wet and windy weather even with a outdoor aerial

I used to receive the Cwmfelinfach relay transmitter at one time, mentioned at 6:13 which gave a poor and ghosty picture, due to the mast being located at the side of a hill instead of the top, now that TV Signals are digital, those poor pictures are history.

And, living on the South coast, I no longer get French tv.

I wonder... how many aerials did the IBA expect people to have on their roofs? One for TV, two for VHF-FM, one for mediumwave with an earth...
