I've been looking for a review and demo on this guitar for days and I finally found it. So many diffrent ibanez guitars out there it came up with the wrong model. I'm going to buy the blue sapphire one. Thanks for the video.

This comment struck me as poignant because I had a Japanese made RG that I bought in '98 and sold around 2002 and couldn't remember to save my life what the model was when I wanted to track down another one. It took years on message boards to figure it out. In fact, that only occurred a month ago. I contacted Ibanez, and they were kind of like "hell if I know" based on the description lol.

Alright to all the people asking lol. Only problem I've had with it would be the wiring coming loose, but that was a quick fix (about 5 minutes). Other than that a really solid piece of equipment. You can play anything on this guitar, from heavy distortion to clean tones. And the whole time it sounds amazing.

Different hardware. I can tell just but pictures they have different pickups, but I would look at reviews and the Ibanez website for more info

I got 4.......ocean fade, dragon eye, dragon eye w floyd, black wave w floyd!!! Black wave is ash body.. way heavier.. prolly not keep it cuz i might as well play the les laul tanks.. its that heavy. Im keeping the others w mahongany bodies.

Hi gravitspa I have had mine about 1 month and know exactly what you are saying. I can't believe I am getting this much playing pleasure at this cost. I never really considered Ibanez before as I though it was more a "metal" thing - I was wrong ! Amazing value for money - the likes of Gibson can spin on it (and I own an SG,!). I own an SG Special too. It feels very heavy and my short fingers cannot go well with it. I like my S621QM so much, that playing with it filled all of my evenings after work. Now I am thinking to buy another set of D'Addario 10/46 strings I love how they sound and I am not even thinking of trying anything else. Perhaps a set of NYXL, but yet I am dying to keep it sounding as it is.
