my buddy has a 94' JS100 made in Korea. he got it as a gift from his dad when he got accepted to GIT in LA. He still has it but doesn't play it, he's really a tele guy now. But he loaned it to me to fix up for him and I fell in love with it. I had never played one and the weight, balance, feel perfect for me. I offered to buy it from him but he said no, cause it was a gift from his dad who passed away not long after he gave him the guitar, so I totally understood. But it's still all original stock and still plays and sounds amazing. Been thinking about getting one of these, but haven't cause that powder blue color just isn't me. If they did black, red or even white with the maple fretboard I'd order one today.

Nice playing again Rich and spot on timing. Good sounding guitar and I don't think Joe would put his name to a guitar that wasn't any good, even the cheaper version. Again Ibanez make some very good guitars at all price points.

How the guitar neck ? Is it easy to shredding and sweep picking any recommended on tis guitar?

The problem with that model is the size, if you are a little big, the body of the guitar doesn't even offer support for the forearm and it looks like you are using a mandolin. Thanks for the video, good review.

Awesome intro solo !!! Really nailed that Satch style. I own an old beaten JS100 and despite its questionnable condition (fret wear, switch issues) it is still a joy to play , and it has a nice bright coil tapped tone that works well to get Hendrixy tones or cleanish parts by just rolling the volume down. Very versatile... I might get a new one at some point.

It’s just a copy of the Floyd rose that Floyd. Rose special is terrible.

It's a Edge-Zero II bridge not floyd rose special

The Edge Zero II is actually a step down from the Edge Zero. The EZII is made in China and uses the same zinc alloy as the Floyd Special. But they had sense enough to make the critical parts from heat treated steel, like the knife edges and studs. So, many have been saying that it's a very stable system that stays in tune very well.
