I appreciate the panning but something's going on with those cymbals. Kinda sounds like random volume spikes are causing compression to clamp down. Or possibly some sidechaining with the volume ducking a little too hard in an attempt to make sure the guitars are the focal point. Or maybe neither because i am not a professional mix engineer by any stretch of the imagination haha.

Ngl, these new 2025 products are pretty mid apart from the Standard AZs...not much of an evolution. Kinda just same same plain...personally I would've loved a 27 fret version of the old Prestige S5521Q in Trans Aqua Blue and Bright Pink

Very true, its just nothing unique. There are a few really pretty guitars like the AS93QMSP in Dark Brown Sunburst or both finishes of the AZ22S1F but its just way too much AZ and SR. Would've loved sth special like a revival of a discontinued line f.e. electric talman. Maybe we'll get sth like that for an anniversary. This year its 26 years after talman release. Sure hope they will do sth for it's 30th anniversary. Or really any discontinued model, but they didnt do it with the destroyer this year either (it turns 50 being released in 1975). Unless they see the Destroyer II release after overcoming the gibson copyright lawsuit as the actual birthday in 1981 (then we'd have to wait for 2031 for the big comeback :P).

Killed it with that track 🔥 A bit sad there isnt much innovative stuff on this years release tho, no new 8 strings, no new body shapes (or old shapes revived like solid body talman, which should defenetly come back, especially with a P90 version like the TC620 in 1995). The new AZ22S1F are both gorgeous, but its way too many AZ guitars and SR basses on there imo. The lack of variation makes it kinda boring to anyone that isnt absolutely in love with these two models. And 3 out of 5 new RGs fully black + another one black with gold hardware and a slightly lighter fretboard is a bit disappointing too. Wouldve also loved some more of the smaller series like Quest, Iceman and AZS to get some more love. Really pretty guitars, just lacks a few more unique instruments that stand out like f.e. with the SRC6MS (bass IV type bass) in 2023 or the Talman revival in 2015. But ig u gotta do what u gotta do, that unique stuff probably doesnt sell even close to as well as the AZ or SR.

If only 90% of the iron labels and other indonesian made ibanezes had a straight neck. Every neck i've seen past couple years have had weird humps and twists in the neck and they only keep getting worse with time. Please do not cut corners in the most critical parts of the guitar. Clearly the wood is not dried properly.

ibanez stop only making basses geared towards only metal the new btb would have been great...with 19mm string spacing. problem is they gear the instrument towards, please dont be offended its just demographics, newer players who were inspired by flashy metal solos but its just usually picks and pentatonics, ill say if you only play with a pick the tighter string spacing is nice, but if you are hoping to have a less resistant time playing all the right hand techniques, youre gonna want wider string spacing on a 5/6 string bass, and the tighter string spacing doesnt help pick users enough that it necessitates it ending result: basses that look easier to play, but arent. intended to have the B string abused into oblivion seriously some of your basses are pushing 16mm spacing. leave lmao

This is boring ass music. Rock oriented guitar based music is dead. This is just boring and sterile. The minute that djent came along, it brought the stench of jazz fusion with it. Everyone sounds the same now as a result. Knowing theory is one thing and is not at all unvaluable, but when the guitar community at large knows all the same theory, a huge sameness creeps into everyone's playing.
