This is testament on how singers can be able to do more within their voice their only limitation being the genre their band is in or the type of songs they aim to make. I always knew Gerard can scream but at this level of intensity is what I think surprised many. I got a similar feeling when we found out that Phil Bozeman (Whitechapel) can sing fantastic cleans. No singer's voice is limited it all depends on how you use it and if it matches the song.

@@valentinotoscano3944 yeah, definitelly! Danger Days and the later Conventional Weapons are equally hated and often forgoten without much of a reason to me. Sure, the poppier, lighter and catchier aproach made some of the older fans disappointed, but I think this would also be a great addition in a possible future release, the melodic influence of things like SING and The Light Behind Your Eyes, or the catchier and poppier sound from Na Na Na and Gun., or even the more experimental sound they used on Destroya.

I know everyone's freaking out about feral Gerard being unleashed halfway through (jk jk, although it makes a really good image) but this song also KILLS IT. I love the melody line/epic choral background and the driving drums. I feel like it took me forever to get into metal (or accept that I was) because the guys in school with me who liked it were douches but MAN. And that GUITAR RIFF at 4:30 or so??!

Also the folklore-y/fantasy associations that a lot of metal bands have and their overlap with gaming and comics make perfect sense for Gerard to be into even if I didn't already know they were into metal bands (which I think has been said in interviews quite a bit).
