Now I've finally stopped noticing that weird beard behind Eddy. Excellent battle from both. First time hearing Syntax so anytime I see someone new to me against Eddy it's a dirty 30 for the boy. But I have it 2-1 Eddy. First round by Syntax was incredible. Creative punches and an unexpected aggression which worked great but Salsa edged that first. Second I gave to Syntax. Might have been me but it was Eddys lightest round which was still amazing. Syn was just more fluid. Third round a couple slips from Syn and a dominant finish from Eddy has him taking it for me. Highlight bar of the battle was Syns eye on the grip, hands on sight/Pans Labyrinth bar. Jheeez 🚀🔥

Eddy I took the first , Syntex edges the 2nd based on amount of material and Eddy takes the 3rd. I'll be honest, I've seen syntex once before and though his writing exhibits skill it is difficult to get over the delivery. What he is saying comes off still as amateur because it's too aggressive or too loud- it's mostly a matter of breath control and annunciation. Additionally some of the serious toned material does always carry the weight it is intended to when Eddy dismisses it with his material immediately after in a somewhat joking way. Real shit, no hate to Syntex he fought well against a strong opp and these are the things that I thought could be worked on to help beat someone of Eddys caliber in the future. Eddy was fire, always happy to see a battle with him. Great cadence and angles. Would love to see him vs Random in future. -Dvos

Syntex has dope material, his speaking voice is fire. And when he goes to a deeper vocal tone he sounds hella cool. But when he raps he sounds like a little too “yappy” for my taste. Might be how “cut off” he is on his final words. They cut but in a sharp end kinda way not like a piercing through the crowd kind of cut. He’s definitely got potential for sure though.
