So this guy is responsible for creating the live-action rain effects seen in Dumbo (1941), Bambi (1942), Saludos Amigos (1943), and many others. Kudos to him, that must've been a challenge to get it done.

Some information that might be of interest to you: JB Kaufman's "Fairest of Them All" book contains additional information of efx animators on "Snow White" which isn't mentioned in the drafts. He did the effects of the suds and bubbles as Dopey chases and swallows the soap..perhaps his most infamous shot was of the lightning bolt that meets the Witch's demise.

I didn't know that Joshua Meador also did the effects animation for MGM's "Forbidden Planet" (1956)! In fact, it was the only non-Disney film that Josh was ever known to be involved in.

actually the rain effects in dumbo were shot in live action over the animation projected behind, also the snow effects
