Note: ホツレ(Hotsure) refers to a state in which the edges, seams or others at the cloth have come undone. After reading the whole story, I thought it was a state, not a proper noun, so I decided to translate it as "Frayed". There was also an issue where writing "Hotsure" would read like "Hot-sure" in English (Hotsure is the romanization of the Japanese "Ho-tsu-re").

Why is kuroe on there? I’m not sure, I haven’t seen the end of arc 2 but from the spoilers I’ve seen I imagine this is after kuroe turned into ichizo and is in some sort of limbo on the train before she’s given a second chance? Idk again, I don’t know how infinite iroha works

This is not explained in detail. Doroinu only explained that his ears actually grew out of his head. My guess is that it's a reference to the "Night on the Galactic Railroad" animation, where the main character was replaced by cats.
