@@mitocorleone4845 Looks pretty good right now. It gets slow around the Winter months. Intel always has calls out. Better take that Portland electrical exam along with your CA while the knowledge is still fresh. Just a reminder, Oregon has the Oregon Rule & Law. You just need to study up on it or find out what booklet of it you can take into our code exam. Good luck.

@@chamoythemoy3183 the only way you can work for a union contractor is to sign the books as a union electrician. If you did your apprenticeship non union. You can organize into the union. You will take a hands on test where they will gauge your abilities. Then you will swear into the union. From there you can take union jobs or calls from the books. I chose the union because I wanted better pay, better working conditions, better benefits, and future. Not all union locals are the same. I lucked out and joined a great local that treats it's members with respect and values us.

Go to your local ibew i just got out of highschool to you apply and They give you a date to come in to take a apptitude test (English and Math(algebra) test ) and if you pass you get a interview and well it goes on from there depending on how you do will depend your rank on if you get accepted
