Great example of when in doubt, throttle out!! So many competitors lifted at the corner and lost all momentum! Winner never lifted

They really need some rotary wipers in those windows, most could see hardly anything right after taking off. Rotary windows aren't that expensive, they're easy to get used from some decommissioned ship and they work very well even for mud when you apply some super hydrophobic coating.

@@Ibex- They're the spinning round window inserts often seen in the windows of boats and ships, sometimes farm equipment or cnc machines. Not really a wiper per definition but a fast spinning glass circle, constantly flinging water, coolant or mud off. But they fullfill the same function. We got them on some farm equipment and on a machining center and they work great, at least at lower "mud load". But definitely worth a try.

yup there was alot of crunching. i thought in the moment it happened i broke the drop box. instead of destroying the rear axle and drive shaft

the trail you saw and wondered what made it at the start of the video, I think some kind of lizard made that cause the drag mark would be the tail and the marks on the side would be the feet.

The guy who won took a wide line to the left in the final section. Literally everyone else who got that far took a tight line to the right, trying to go directly to the end, and failed. Coincidence? I am guessing not.

All 5 camera men did, he took off before we were even ready and then i was concerned he had flipped upside down and i was going to have to jump in and save him.
